  1. I wasn't able to access the site at all for about a week and a half, did anyone else have this trouble?

Nope. No-one I know of has reported this problem.

Were all other sites working properly for you? What happened when you tried to load it up?

All other sites worked fine, when i tried to load up this site i just got an error message like the site ddin't exist.

  2. I already said I disagree with LA, so needless to say I disagree with this too. But what you said however is completely how I once felt about Finck. Ron's been playing these songs since a few months. So maybe, much like Robin and Richard he'll also start feeling them more and plossibly adding to them more as time progresses.

I hope so. for the time being though, im not 100% impressed.

i'd like to point out though i'm not in the same fruit fileld boat as rockstar81.

  3. As much as i hate to say it, i really can't get behind Bumblefoot's solo's whenever he takes lead on any songs.

It's not that it's shredding, It's that the majority of the time when he does it, it just doesn't compliment any of the songs whatsoever, even when Buckethead did it on songs like Rocket Queen/It's So Easy which never really ever needed it, it at least complimented the song and was in tune, when Ron does it on something like Nightrain or You Could Be Mine which later have had it it REALLY just doesnt fit, it's like zero thoughts gone into it making it sound well and just all the thought into making it fast.

Nice guy an' all, but i'm not into the soloing.

  4. One question: why can't we get a statement this articulate and detailed regarding the release of CD? Merck and Axl go out of their way to explain the cancellation of the show but they can't be bothered to give us a release date-saying 1 Tuesday this year it will drop isn't cutting it. The fans have a right to some respect and they can't be bothered to tell us one specific thing about CD, the wait behind the release, reasons for 2002 tour being cancelled, etc.

He just said in the statement he legally CAN'T talk about the 2002 incidents.

  5. I dunno where to stand on this, can't say i didn't expect it at some point. America seems to have 'The Fall' effect on the band, in that whenever the band 'The Fall' go over to America, traditionally something always goes horribly fucking wrong mid tour. 1998 the band had a fight on stage and ended the show with only two members from an original five, and this year everyone bar the singer and his wife left the band.

I don't get what keeps making GnR screw up in America!

    bizarre.

There's other reasons a fire marshall might have cancelled the show ratehr than JUST blaming it on pyros, space limitations and bullshit like that. i don't know, it's pretty funny that people are finding that this reason is SO hard to believe when it's coming from managment themselves.

Like they say, the tour will continue, but everyone will be watching and waiting for the next screw up, unfortunately. at leats we got a press release this time about why a show got cancelled.

  6. Yea, he looks REAL busy being a father there with BH. So, let me get this straight. GNR is currently touring, and Brain is off farting around with Buckethead. The drummer for GNR is drumming for/with somebody else while GNR is on tour.

Like Madison posted up there, Merck even said there's a huge difference between playing a show an hour away from home and going out on the road for six months playing in puerto rico and god knows where else. This is one show, Brain's been in Praxis since 1992, there's no way he's done this without notifying Axl or someone in charge.

Given the choice of taking a break to spend time with your wife and kid and doing a show an hour away from home with the ability to go home easy enough after it and see your kid straight after or being on tour til december and beyond with no end of stopping in sight and only being able to talk to family on the phone, the smart money is on taking a break.

  7. I feel Brains hart is not in GNR. Look when I saw them in Vegas Brain and a Roadie were talking right by the check out counter, the Roadie told Brain so… how come you didn’t come to the party last night. Brain said I can’t do that shit anymore… I had family here so… I just can’t be doing that anymore.

I m not bullshiting you, you all know I was there, but after hearing that out of brains mouth I feel GNR is not in his hart. Say what u want but that’s the way I feel. He’s personal life is just is too different now. He’s not the right guy. Sorry.

He just had a fucking kid, would you want to be going up and down the country for three months non stop not seeing your new born child?

his hearts not in guns n roses because he'd rather help his family and not be a selfish hungover moron in the morning every day? nice one.

in fact, Buddyhead reported a while ago he told them to try not to book so many shows around certain times or he was gonna have to take time off, so what did they do? home boy went and booked the shows anyway.

  8. Okay, I'l be the first to say it.

    Pit(t)man = G&R. End of story.

That guy's got tons of motherfucking charisma on stage. He has keyboards the bounce around and sometimes he dresses like the cop from the village people. So fuck all you haters.

If you listen closely to a new bootleg, I think you can hear a little beeping sound effect in the background of NuWelcome to the Jungle. That's the kind of shit I always felt was missing from AFD. Everytime I hear the blowout finale to Paradise City I think to myself, "Yea, it's cool. But imagine if Martin Luther King Jr. was talking in the background. A PIT(T)MAN! A PIT(T)MAN! MY KINGDOM FOR A PIT(T)MAN!"

Admit it, you all feel the same way deep down inside.

Right on and I believe Tommy Stinson the badass rockstar also dresses like one of the village people.... rock1

  9. Weird. It's almost like if Axl treats people with respect, they say good things about him. I wonder why that is.

Because they're treating him with respect, thats how things work in the world, in general. You be nice to someone and then they respect you, unless you're a sado masochist dominatrix, are you?
