Beach Boys Pet Sounds. Brian Wilson took a little to work with and turned it into alot.Bruce Springsteen - Born to Run.
So many instruments used, yet it all fits together perfectly, and doesn't sound crowed.
Agree with both of them.
Also Andy Wallace done a fantastic job on Jeff Buckley Grace, alot of layered guitar and vocal parts alongside organ and strings, very rich and grand sounding.

I'm ready to bet that a lot of people who are voting for Sgt. Pepper never listened to Pet Sounds...
They're the one's missing out
-
I've never understood the fuss about sgt pepper and it certainly cant touch pet sounds.
The lyrics, music, singing and production is perfect and the concept of love, loss and longing certainly beats sgt pepper, which even to this day i still dont know what the supposed concept was

Bob Dylan - Idiot wind

PEARL JAM. Better musicians, better lyrics, better performance.......I don't think it needs much more explanation.
I totally agree but Nirvana was a much more important band so im not sure, but i think the unplugged album means i'll pick Nirvana
