    Du hast

    Du hast mich

    Du

    Du hast

    Du hast mich

    Du hast mich

    Du hast mich gefragt

    Du hast mich gefragt

Du hast mich gefragt und ich hab

    nichts gesagt

Willst du bis der Tod euch scheidet

treu ihr sein fur alle Tage...

    nein

Willst du bis zum Tod der Scheide

sie lieben auch in schlechten Tagen....

    nein

    You have asked me

    You have asked me

    You have asked me

    And I said nothing

will you until death does part you

be true to her on all days

    Never

will you 'til the death of the slit,

love her, even in bad times

    Never

  3. Since when did dudes start rating pop rock chicks on how truly "rock" they are? Do you like your chick singers to be biting the heads off bats or ripping up hotel rooms?

She's hot, she's got a great voice and she sings pop rock instead of Metallica. Oh, and GNR is one of her favorite bands and she has AFD on her iPod. What's the crime?

there is no crime. although some people think that, but its just weird to hear that some pop singer likes Guns N Roses. Its like finding out that Ozzy likes to listen to Motzart (i'd shoot my self if he did) its just a weird combo.

you sound like a fucking idiot, most musicians are "artists" therefore they like many kinds of music. GNR are a great band, so who cars if she digs them. She has an awesome voice, I cant believe American idol actually put out an artist with some talent

I have read my post numerous times, and i didnt say anything in there that mentions Musicians not being Artists. I also never said they can only like rap/rock/country/what ever you listen to. I just said it would be weird to find out that a dude that sings heavy metal/death metal would listen to soothing classical music. So who is the fucking idot now?

  6. Basically the title says it all.

My favourites besides the obvious Free Bird, would have to be Gimme 3 steps, Tuesday's gone, and Ballad of Curtis Lowe. I fucking love this band! Any other recommendations of bands that are similar?

I hate this guy! he made fun of neil young because neil wrote "Southern Man" then this fuck head got all offended and made fun of him in Sweet home Alabama. fucking dick shitter! :fuckyou:

  7. Just wanted to see if anybody else thought that this song was a masterpiece and Metallica's true magnum opus, i just thought it was fantastic! it seems a great way to combine a really fast song with some beautiful classical playing and a very deep meaning. if you've heard the S&M version it'seven better, just wondered what other people thiink

    word.

  8. Ok, chances are people who are recommending Coltrane and Miles, know fuck all about Jazz and are just recommending it cause they've hard it so many times.

Anywho, starting off with straight up jazz is hard so start with some Jazz/Rock, type stuff to ease you into it. It's like if you wanna listen to blues you should listen to Hendrix or Cream first to get the feel. Anyway, Miles did an album called In a Silent Way, that can be viewed as Jazz/Rock fusion. Also, there's an instrumental Jazz Fusion album by Jeff Beck called "Blow by Blow," which is very good, and there's one more that may not be jazz/rock, but it's called "Jazz Blues Fusion," by John Mayall and the Bluesbreakers.

Don't assume, I have around 30 Miles Davis albums and am pretty much well listened in most of the major names. I also go to the city (NYC) atleast once a year and check out the club scene. I've seen McCoy Tyner, Jim Hall, Dave Holland, John Mclaughlin and Shakti, Dave Liebman, John Faddis's Dizzy Gillespie tribute big band and many other notable players. My brother also attends one of the most prestigious jazz programs in the country and is studying under Gene Bertoncini and Mulgrew Miller among others.

I think it's funny that you accuse those who recommend Trane and Miles of not knowing Jack shit when all you have to suggest is Miles and a rock guitarist. You should also know that although In a Silent Way was an early "fusion" record, it was much farther from rock than some of Miles' other records. A tribute to Jack Johnson has some of the best extended electric guitar playing of all time and On the Corner is influenced by mainstream soul and funk. When people start raving about Kenny G. then you can get mad, but don't assume anything when people are recommending good music.

Wow. this guy is on a role. I never knew that They had awsome crazy jazz festivals in New York. I wish the had on in Calgary, Canada. :P

  9. Walk into a store. You will see Led Zeppelin posters, hats, shirt, etc... everywhere. They released singles. Who cares if they wanted to? They did! Nothing wrong with being "mainstream" at all. I don't even a clue why people bring it up and make a big deal out of it. It's the worst way to judge anything.

Also, "Painkiller3342O5", cut the holier-than-thou pissy attitude out. There is no reason to put somebody down with petty insults like you did because they said something about Led Zeppelin releasing singles of all things. I'd hate to see how mad you would get if you actually arguing about something that mattered at all. And don't respond to this post by calling me a "cunt ass" or some stupid insult like that. Explain yourself if you want anyone in life to ever take you seriously.

hahaha ok. wut ever you say. B)

  10. Mainsteam rock is not real rock

I didn't really understand your post too much so I don't really know what kind of point you were making. But old rock that people praise was mainstream. Led Zeppelin is and was as mainstream as any rock band is today. Same for Guns N' Roses, Queen, whatever.

Led Zeppelin was anything but mainstream.

People forget than Led Zeppelin were not the biggest thing around in the 70's, disco and pop was.

Led Zeppelin was not the charts.

cept when the company forced them to release a single...and then it goes and shoots up to #5 on the pop charts :fuckyou:

dude, Stairway was not a single. Led Zep even stated that it wasn't a single. The only way a song can be a single,is is the band says its a single. So i suggest you take your finger and shove it up your ass, then pull it out when you KNOW about something, instead of blurting out shit.

    PCE

WTF he never said anything about Stairway being a single.

Most people assume that stairway is a single. So i pulled a bit of a hypocrite and assumed that he assumed that stairway was a single.

Also as a side note, LedZep didnt believe in having single songs.

    PCE

actually I would assume he would be talking about kashmir. not sure if he is though.

Whole Lotta Love went to US billboard chart peaking at #5 when released in November of 1969 although they were forced into puting it out

That still doesnt mean its a single. that means that the band was forced to putout a song. Big difference.
