  2. haha, I love the priest. But i cannot stand Ripper Owens. he's such a bad singer on 98 Live.

As you can tell, when i joined, my favorite song was Painkiller. Its my favorite song BY THEM, but i now have a new favorite song. :P But these guys brought the meaning of metal in the 80's.

  3. I always watch the VMA's, but this year it was really, really low. Last year was pretty ok, not the best of course but it was ok. This year was just shit.

Jack Black was good imo, but no one seemed to get his jokes.

In overall it left me a feeling that nobody really tried to make this show a show.

yeah, Jack white kinda looked embarassed when Jack Black was like "We should start a band!"

i was hoping White would be likc "fuck you." :P

  4. I just love that some racist, bigoted fucks on here choose to ignore that a lot of the muslims do not agree with this statement and that a muslim even has a restaurant named after the legend, and go on to say 'fuck the muslims' as if it was the majority saying it and not just the leader of a moronic organization.

    fuck the muslims. :P

nah, jkjk. But at least there are people there celebrating it. But no matter what, your gonna get people disagreeing with everything. no matter what it is.

  5. SLAYER's "Christ Illusion" sold more than 62,000 copies in its first week of release in the United States to debut at position No. 5 on The Billboard 200 chart. This is the highest position ever on the chart for SLAYER, who previously reached No. 8 with their 1994 release "Divine Intervention" after moving 93,000 copies of that album in its first week.

SLAYER's last album, 2001's "God Hates Us All", registered a first-week tally of 51,000 to land at No. 28, while 1998's "Diabolus In Musica" opened with 46,000 units, debuting at No. 31.

"God Hates Us All" has sold 304,000 copies in the United States so far, according to Nielsen SoundScan — roughly in line with the number achieved by its predecessor, "Diabolus In Musica", which currently stands at about 290,000. Several of the earlier SLAYER albums have been certified gold for sales in excess of 500,000 copies in the United States, including "Divine Intervention", which has moved 493,000 units, according to Nielsen SoundScan.

  7. I love these guys. I also saw them at the Calgary Stampede last night, and their concert rocked! I love how their songs arent all whiney, and arent all about some girl that dumped them years ago, and yet they still survive in the modern Music Industry.

So what do you guys think about them?

  8. It's a Bitter Sweet Symphony is the best song of the 90's, hands down. The lyrics to that song sum it up, don't they? "It's a Bitter Suite Symphony that's life, try to makes ends meet, you're a slave to the money, then you die". Fucking brilliant song.

that is one song im never ever gonna forget. I love the music video especially.

  10. Whatever happened to Axl's kid? He (I think it's a he) was in the Estranged video and that was that. I mean, that was his kid right?

It'd be pretty cool if in the next few years he starts rockin' out with a band of his own.

Axl is too busy with CD for kids. he needs a NANNY!
