i think hes talking about rappers dissing each other in their songs, but im not a big fan of rap so i wouldnt really know
I think Eminem has amazing talent.
The lines highlighted above are about Ja Rule, he mentioned Eminem's daughter and estranged wife in a song. There are some parts of the song to do with the war in Iraq, much like his song 'Mosh'
R.
Thanks, do you also know who got killed?
"That was never my object for someone to get killed"

I know most of you hate him, I'm not to fond of him myself. I heard his last song and the lyrics got me questioning. What is is about?
Like toy soldiers:
[step by step, heart to heart, left right left
We al fall down like toy soldiers]
[Chorus]
Step by step, heart to heart, left right left
We all fall down like toy soldiers
Bit by bit, torn apart, we never win
But the battle wages on for toy soldiers
[Verse 1]
I'm supposed to be the soldier who never blows his composure
Even though I hold the weight of the whole world on my shoulders
I am never supposed to show it, my crew ain't supposed to know it
Even if it means goin' toe to toe with a Benzino it don't matter
I'd never drag them in battles that I can handle unless I absolutely have to
I'm supposed to set an example
I need to be the leader, my crew looks for me to guide 'em
If some shit ever just pop off, I'm supposed to be beside 'em
Now the Ja shit i tried to squash it, it was too late to stop it
There's a certain line you just don't cross and he crossed it
I heard him say Hailie's name on a song and I just lost it It was crazy,
this shit be way beyond some Jay-z and Nas shit
And even though the battle was won, I feel like we lost it
I spent too much energy on it, honestly I'm exhausted
And I'm so caught in it I almost feel I'm the one who caused it
This ain't what I'm in hip-hop for, it's not why I got in it
That was never my object for someone to get killed
Why would I wanna destroy something I help build
It wasn't my intentions, my intentions was good
I went through my whole career without ever mentionin' ...
Now it's just out of respect for not runnin' my mouth
And talkin' about something that I knew nothing about
Plus Dre told me stay out, this just wasn't my beef
So I did, I just fell back, watched and gritted my teeth
While he's all over t.v. down talkin' a man who literally saved my life
Like fuck it i understand this is business
And this shit just isn't none of my business
But still knowin' this shit could pop off at any minute cuz
[Chorus]
[Verse 2]
There used to be a time when you could just say a rhyme
And wouldn't have to worry about one of your people dyin'
But now it's elevated cuz once you put someone's kids in it
The shit gets escalated, it ain't just words no more is it?
It's a different ball game, callin' names and you ain't just rappin'
We actually tried to stop the 50 and Ja beef from happenin'
Me and Dre had sat with him, kicked it and had a chat with him
And asked him not to start it he wasn't gonna go after him
Until Ja started yappin' in magazines how we stabbed him
Fuck it 50 smash 'em, mash 'em and let him have it
Meanwhile my attention is pullin' in other directions
Some receptionist at The Source who answers phones at his desk
Has an obsession for me and thinks that I'll be his ressurection
Tries to blow the dust off his mic and make a new record
But now he's fucked the game up cuz one of the ways I came up
Was through that publication the same one that made me famous
Now the owner of it has got a grudge against me for nothin'
Well fuck it, that mutherfucker can get it too, fuck him then
But I'm so busy being pissed off I don't stop to think
That we just inherited 50's beef with Murder Inc.
And he's inherited mine which is fine ain't like either of us mind
We still have soldiers that's on the front line
That's willing to die for us as soon as we give the orders
Never to extort us, strictly to show they support us
We'll maybe shout 'em out in a rap or up in a chorus
To show them we love 'em back and let 'em know how important it is
To have Runion Avenue Soldiers up in our corners
Their loyalty to us is worth more than any award is
But I ain't tryna have none of my people hurt and murdered
It ain't worth it I can't think of a perfecter way to word it
Then to just say that I love ya'll too much to see the virdict
I'll walk away from it all before I let it go any further
But don't get it twisted, it's not a plea that I'm coppin'
I'm just willin' to be the bigger man
If ya'll can quit poppin' off at your jaws well then I can,
Cuz frankly I'm sick of talkin'
I'm not gonna let someone elses coffin rest on my conscience cuz
[Chorus]
What is it all about?

shania twain (haven't got any CD's from her though), michael Jackson.

crazy train beats everything sabbath ever did
END OF THE THREAD
I like Mr. Crowley better. One of the few songs where synthesiser is used as a good thing.
-
I like poison, hey stupid, no more mister niceguy, school's out. But his new stuff (brutal planet) is to depresive.

In 1983, Sarzo and Gillis quit the group and Daisley rejoined. Also during this time, guitarist Jake E. Lee was added to the band. This line up released the multi-platinum selling album, "Bark At The Moon" in 1984. After the album's release, Aldridge quit; His replacement was Carmine Appice.
The line up changed again for the album, "The Ultimate Sin" which was recorded by Ozzy on vocals, Jake Lee on guitar, Phil Soussan on bass, Randy Castillo on drums, and Mike Moran on keyboards.
Just looked in a biography, this is what I got.

but Sabbath had some shite records, Tecnical Ecstasy anyone?
yeah, and I could skip some of the songs from the other albums aswell.
-
Which Music do you like better?
I'm in doubt between Sabbath and Ozzy with Randy Rhoads. I think the Sabbath songs are better (even better than "the Blizzard of Ozz" songs). But I like the sound of Randy Rhoads better.
Eventually I'll go with Sabbath.

It depends on what music
and on sex with who..........

Im a South African. Where are you goin. Btw dont live there anymore just wondering.
Oh Great CD's man. Maybe not the Micheal Jackson one
I'll be going to Pretoria, for my study.
Yeah, Michael Jackson, I know it's weird. Like only rock music except for Michael.
Maybe I should buy a CD case, but I got like really alot of stuff and only allowed to bring 20 k along. else it's like 3 euros a Kilo extra.
Cool man. Well good luck with all of that and have a nice time. OH and be sure to go to two resturants while you're there. Spur and Wimpy. Great Places. Oh and never take a taxi Thats all I can say
Ha, I'll write these two down and I'll try and visit them. Ok, no taxi's, thanks for the advise.

I myself am leaving for south-africa for four months on 10 sept. I can only take limited CD's with me because of space in my bags. I think I can take about 10 with me. I'm trying to pick them out now.
I was just wondering witch you would take with you. So which CD's would you take with you?
I think I'll go with these
1. GN'R - AFD
2. Metallica - Ride the lightning
3. Metallica - ...and justice for all.
4. Aerosmith - Greatest Hits (the old one)
5. Ozzy - the blizzard of ozz or no more tears
6. Black Sabbath - Paranoid
7. ACDC - Back in Black
8. Megadeth - capital punishment (best off)
9. Motorhead - Basterds or Ace of spades (I actually want to take "no remorse" with me but I've got that copied and I don't want to get in trouble at the airport)
10. Michael Jackson - Don't know which one yet.
-
Metallica
-
Backstreet gays.
I just want to cry to see that that's the stuff people like(d).
so sweet and soft and polished. makes me want to throw up. can't stand them.
-
Yeah man, they rule. damn 2.5 hour concert. comming back on stage twice (though all that stuff is fake). Best show ever.
I must say that they might even have a better show than GN'R
-
I think actually that that song really rocks.
-
does it have to be a gnr song? 'cause than, if I'm honnest non of them, maybe the garden of eden because I see the troubles of the world. but other wise really non of them.
If not a gnr song, than Metallica's motorbreath, not because I live fast, but because I want to live fast.
-
Ozzy Osbourne - Blizzard of Ozz
Motorhead - Ace of Spades/ Basterds/ No remorse (pic one)
-
Peter Pan Speedrock
and Death Angel, but you might have heard from that one
-
I prefer GN'R, but in quality I think Led Zeppelin is better.
