That's a good post. I think Slash would probably want to take on the "bigger" solos himself (NR, SCOM etc) I can't see how he would mind them playing things like the nightrain riff. Also the otherway round it would be a little awkward Slash playing the riffs/solos Finck and Fortus wrote. It is possilbe. they pulled it off with Buckethead, they can do it easily with Slash.

If Slash has quit VR, I am 70% sure he will rejoin GNR!

If he joins GNR it will just be beyond words to describe how amazing it will be. Rumours have been circulating for ages I wouldn't be suprised if he's going back home!

I doubt it is true, but if the small chance it is true is right. Then I will be so pissed Axl will have made me waste like £200 + on plane tickets and hotels.

The first one is awful you feel sorry for them. The guitars were horrible. Admitidely the singer was average, can't do an Axl Rose voice but was more in tune than the guitars. The rest was so bad it's embarrassing.

Well Axl said that his favourite songs were TWAT, Better and The Blues. So therefore they are probably the best on the album; in saying this I would be suprised if the other songs are much better than this. The only reason would be if Axl is behind it all and him saying they were his favourites was all part of the plan. I doubt he is though. Also I think the new songs are very average, nothing compared to AFD. IRS is my favourite.

You cannot compare this to afd, its simply not possible. AFD was one in a million, 20 years ago!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This album is new gnr, a new generation, do not expect anythin like afd in music or impact, you wont get it.

I'm not expecting anything to be like AFD. If you would like to find somewhere I wrote I am expecting chinese Democracy to be similar to AFD then please, go ahead, show me.

And I know the new songs don't come anywhere near AFD or UYI for that matter, I don't claim they are. But if I want to compare to AFD you can't stop me.

It's good. I can recommend you put less emphisis the last two notes of each bar. Also you are skipping a note in between them. Apart from that I can just say don't pick as many notes as you are but apart from that it sounds good.

Lucky for me I still haven't listened to the leaks but I think I'm givin it one more month until I do.

Kind of agree with that on one hand. However I strongly disagree on another: What if CD doesn't come out and Axl scraps it? Okay that would be unlikely but with bad reviews of new songs I think he may.

my guess is there will be a minimum of 2 opening acts with guns scheduled to hit the stage at 9/ 9 30 ish but just look at there past history they have been known to come on hours late at the leeds festival werent they like 2 hours late they started playing at like 1am I could be wrong about that, i guy i used to work with was there im sure he said they came on really late but they were awesome and he wasnt a big guns fan.

I don't see why they will be 2 hours late here just because they were 2 hours late to a different gig. Also I doubt very much that there will be 2 supports, I wouldn't be suprised if there are none!

Am I the only one who gets excited when you read all these songs? I mean, I see them being played in front of me, live! I have never been to a GnR concert before so I guess that's why I'm longing so much!

Well gates are either opening at 3PM or 5PM can't see Axl making us weight 9 hours or 7 hours.

If at 3PM he could go on at 4PM with no support act or 5:30 with a support

If at 5PM he could go on at 6:30 with no support act or 8PM With a support

I would recommend staying in a guest house rather than an airport hotel. You won't get any sleep because of planes flying out and coming in all night. I am staying in the Raglan Lodge seems good enough.

On the upcoming tour do you think Axl will play anything we haven't heard or been leaked? Maybe "The General" or "Prostitute"?

It's gonna start off with some crazy exorcist cartoon shit, just like last time, then Axl is gonna come out and introduce their newest guitarist, Buckethead?. Buckethead does a solo, then they play WTTJ and It's So Easy.

Then Buckethead climbs up onto a platform and takes off his bucket and mask---it's really Slash dressed up.

The crowd goes crazy. Then Axl does a short rant telling scott to kiss his botox loving ass. Axl also re-hires Tracii and Roberta, they play Knockin' On Heaven's Door.

Halfway through the show Chris Pittman does a keyboard solo. Due to technical difficutlys they must take a intermission. 20 minutes later the lights go out. They come back on and Brian May is there, they play Catcher In The Rye. At the end of the show Axl announces that Merck is firedand play Paradise City, instead of grafitti at the end- a bunch of strippers come out instead and they have a wild sex orgy onstage.

It could happen....

Strange... It did cross me that Slash could perhaps dress as buckethead then unveil the mask half way through. Just the guitar playing is too different. It would have to be as soon as he got on stage.

I am currently using Ernie Ball .11 strings I have tried other Ernie Ball aswell. But I want to try something else maybe a bit more expensive and nicer sounding any suggestions?

I looked on ticketmaster the only place with tickets left is the Anglesea 75 euro seats. Though that doesn't necessarily mean anything.
