  1. Here's what  was said on 100.3 radio in Philly this morning.  A DJ at the station (Matt Cord) who knows Tommy Stinson personally.  Said for the record he was with Tommy last Friday night when the show was supposed to go on.   He (Matt) received free seats on floor from Tommy and was at the show at 10:00-10:30 pm when he recieved a call from Tommy Stinson.  He assumed Tommy was back stage ready to go.  But Tommy stated I'm not at the FU Center and there's a lot of s**t going down now.  Get yourself and your friends and leave immediately.  He (Matt) met up with Tommy later and again repeated the story.  Tommy was told the tour was over that night and Clear Channel made that decision.  And the kicker...Guns were in Philly but Axl never left NYC...

Rumors are that there was a plane or helicopter waiting to take him to Philly and he never went.

This story was verified by members of CKY that personally did radio shows today and said they were told the shows cancelled and to leave the FU Center at about 10:30 before things happen and they were told the tour was cancelled that night.

     Two interesting side notes:

    1.   Jesse the drummer for CKY did say that the Vancouver show was not Axl's fault he was airborne and would have been a little late but still would have played but the promoter didn't care and cancelled.

    2.   Jesse also said the Gunners weren't really getting along on the tour and even the night before in New York Buckethead and Robin Finck were arguing backstage.

Finally one last tidbit - Rumors are that the plane/helicopter for Axl was waiting because he was at the basketball game at MSG. Friday night.  This was repeated throughtout the day here in Philly by several radio stations.

Sorry almost forgot Tommy had stated he was HIRED 4 years ago to do a few tours and now it looks like thats not happening and he DOUBTS THE NEW ALBUM WILL COME OUT ever if at all....  Sorry for the bad news  but I couldn't find anything good. :(

  2. Well check cky's website updated daily.   They thank the fans and the tour is finished.   They do not specify if it's their part in the tour or the whole deal.  But it seems to be over.   Ironically,  they announced an immediate show in NYC last night.   I wonder how long they new it was over...   When your opener bails it's probably over.   Godd**n it   ten years wasn't long enough?!?!?!?

I did catch the last show MSG was fantastic  ( and on the side note -  no one looked sick at 12:30 a.m.)

    Sorry it's not better news...

  3. Now that it's well known both Philly shows are cancelled.  New Mexico is cancelled.  Phoenix is cancelled.  And I'm hearing DC is too.  Career suicide is so sad to watch.   I saw the MSG show.  One of the best I've seen.  But I also saw the Philly attempt.  I watched as time ticked away.  And as chairs and sound boards were flying the Guns Tour came to a halt...

The melee wasn't directly Guns or Axl's fault.  Angry and drunk people do stupid things.  But the way they handled it last night and how they handle it now will show what Axl and Guns really are...  I think we all hope for the best but expect the worst

  4. Get off the rumor mill..   It's stuck in traffic, it's my flight is grounded, it's the promoter did it.  Why do other bands not use the same bullshit.   Guns is not known for riots and cancellations for no reason.  come back to reality...

  5. Here's the story.   First to mr. sparkle.   What if he died?  And what would you think then?  Dude get real.  First off How many shows did the Stones cancel last fuckin' minute......     Second I've been die hard Guns since back in the day.  I went last night to MSG and the show was great!!!  Tonight I brought 8 friends and told them the show would be great.  I told security at 10:55 not to worry he would play.  At 11:10 it was done the sound guy was covering up the sound board which eventually got destroyed.  No it wasn't a riot.  But would it make things better if it was?  God damn it.... I busted my ass to see this show and it didn't happen. if someone was sick,  like they said happened.  Then why wait to tell everyone at 11:45.  I was dedicated to a Rock & Roll band.  Whatever the reason. This is bullshit.  Even if yopu were dying  you don't keep everyone hanging on til 11:00  to say nothing.   Bullshit is bullshit.  Thanks for bursting the Guns N' Roses bubble.  You lost a big fan.  And I mean big  dedicated fan.............................................................................

    ......................................

  6. You're in for a great show dude!!!   I saw MSG last night.  Unfu**cking believable!  I be there tonight too.  Last nights rants were mild--Conan OBrien, A Chicago reporter, and slight mentions of the old mates.   Enjoy!!

  7. I was there too!!  Great show! They went on around 10:00,  belive it or not earlier than previous shows.  And althought no new saong were added besides, Democracy, The Blues and Madagascar. The song lineup was slightly different from recent shows which was a nice surprise!!

  8. I just got back from the Garden show.  Before I comment, I should say that I've been a Guns fan since the beginning.  Last night I saw a kick ass Rock & Roll show!  Something I haven't seen in a long time.  Anyone who was there knows exactly what I mean!  It rocked from start to finish.  Quick down and dirty!  I know the people from the past have said that Axl's bad moods and the bands disfunction made shows back in '91-'92 suck.  Well my only response is,  Axl was in good spirits which made for an excellent performance.  And the band sounded great and loved just playing on stage in front of poeple.  It's nice to see some guys enjoy just playing and doing Rock & Roll.  No Slash, Duff, Izzy, Gilbey, Matt, or Steven, but times change.  Those guys are excellent musicians and I'll go see them in there new project too.  The last thought on Guns N' Fuckin' Roses.   When you think of GNR and start humming their tunes in your head,  whose voice do you hear?  Axl's....         And I loved every minute of it!!!
