Hey just thought id post a reply am also new to the board so hi to everyone
1st I dont reckon you would need to advertise it months and months 2 months of promotion mentioning the bands previous songs is all you would need (certainly mentioning scom which is played in every student night i am at in i am from scotland uk and the song certainly fills a dance floor)
another reason i believe this if people started talking about a new album coming out people dl or buying previous guns song or albums they would go hmm sounds good i gave my friend several of my cds and he isnt a rock fan but certainly appreciated and enjoyed the cds whn put to him if he noticed guns n roses had a new cd would he buy it he said yes several others i know who only know the odd song said the same thing
but on to the topic in that interview slash seems very sure that album will come out in spring he doesnt mention march he also could also be april may
and when the interviewer mentions velvet album may come first he says all things considering he reckons the guns album is coming 1st
how much he knows we dont know but it certainly seemed that he had been assured it was coming soon from what i heard of it
