74-57...
East is getting their ass kicked...shows them for not putting Michael Redd on the team
Well...nvm...the East is somehow winning 101-99 now...
-
Sounds kinda wierd...seeing how management got pissed off and Mrs. Reed also wrote a message where she seemed a little pissed...
-
Howard said he liked it...and you can hear someone say "wow" when he's almost done playing it
-
It does fucking rock!
Wow...nice nameHoly shit, wes was right. TWAT is awesome!!!!!
You've heard it?
...if so can I hear it too?
But yeah...it's been leaked...it's an awesome song, 6:01 in term of length.
Thanks, it goes well with my avatar.
I've got it...it fucking rocks!
Now I need the rest of Better!!!!!!!
And I only wanted the rest of Better...I didnt even want TWAT

Probally because its better than anything VR has put out
-
-
Playing it again right now...

With all respect to Mrs. Reed, I haven't missed Christmas for the last 13 years...
-
That could be the case...but I don't think that Axl probally told him right then and there, to squash it if it happens again. Although I'm sure Axl probally knew that this day was going to come...
That doesn't mean that Axl was the one who told Merck to do that...Merck works for Axl, not the fans. So if you want to blame someone, blame Axl.
Not necessarily, but Merck is basically there to serve Axl's interests. And after the leak last year, I'm sure Axl told Merck to make sure it would be squashed if it happened again.

Maybe if GnR was fucked by a retarded mother...
I forgot who said it, (either Merck or Dizzy...or someone else maybe..but I think it was Merck after the first IRS leak) but IRS isn't even one of the top 10 tracks on CD (as terms of quality...so its more like a filler or something...even though its too good to be a filler )Also, I.R.S isn't even one of the top 10 tracks...
what do you mean?
Contraband is Gn'R afterbirth.
Ahh...I'm only joking, although I hate Contraband and I feel like a moron for buying it the day it came out.

Fair enough, it's ones opinion I guess.Contraband rocked, and VR was great in concert. Nothing special, just freakin' great, raw rock... Not Appetite or anything, but good hard rock. I just think people get so excited to hear from Axl (as do I, he's the greatest) that whatever he puts out just has to be great... These demos aren't.This century's rock albums... hmm... certainly nothing that great, some of the top albums of the 2000s have been put out by The Hives, The White Stripes, and Pearl Jam's Riot Act was pretty good. Nothing as good as GnR's previous stuff, for sure.
If I.R.S. is not one of the top 10 tracks, that's cool with me! Like I said, if it is filler, no problem.
I would be flattered to see what you think about Contraband, (or any rock album this century) then, if you call these "Average" and "Weak"
Also, I.R.S isn't even one of the top 10 tracks...
But as for Contraband, I can't even listen to it anymore, and most of the music from the 2000's is pure shit. (Not all though, I will say that)
This is the part that gets me. I can understand enjoying hard rock, as many of us here do, but my point is, is that I feel like I've heard enough hard rock for awhile, and now I'm looking for something more complex, which is why I'm excited to hear the rest of CD, whenever it's released. It's also the reason I like "Better", it's complex, not just the same old stuff you hear all the time..Nothing special, just freakin' great, raw rockAlso, I like IRS sorta for the reason that it mixes some of the newer GnR sound, with some of the older rock sound of GnR, but yet, it's doesn't get annoying or boring.
But then again, it's just my opinion. I still love that quote...Opinions are like assholes, everyone has one.

I respect wes for not releasing TWAT...but I still think that maybe we should get the rest of Better...since it cuts off right at the good part!
-
Umm....
No.

It's funny, even people who have sworn that they would hate the "new" GnR are saying they love the songs (on differen't forums)
If I had any doubt in Chinese Democracy, just by these two demos, it is now gone.
-
Axl/Merck should allow us to send these TWO DEMOS from a cd that Axl has made us almost starve for, for 13 years.
But I'm very thankful for hearing them
-
It's all about opinion.
Some people have the opinion that these two demos aren't as great as the material on Contraband, that's fine.
My opinion is that it beats the shit out of Contraband, probally because of 2 things:
1. I can't even listen to that cd anymore...too boring.
2. I think these songs are better, even as demos.
But keep in mind, comparing demos to studio tracks is not the greatest idea ever..
-
They'll be out within the next few days, a certain God recently told me..Madison can you not say anything to Merck yet, can we at least see if any of the other tracks surface. There were 3 songs right?Jonx
