Slash goes over to Axl to try to work things out and yet doesn't drop the lawsuits.. of course Axl is going to be pissed off, which is why he released the statement he did. Now all of that is quite obvious. What I'm guessing is if the lawsuits were dropped Axl would have been willing to work things out... I'm not talking reunion or anything far fetched like that. I'm talking Axl may have settled out of court.

No posters...and believe it or not, guys in their 40's CAN dress pretty damn well, formal or casual. Most would be smarter dressed in their 40's than 20's...

He looks better in the picture in the airport than he ever did with tight leather pants, sunglasses too big for him, and no shirt with tattoos all over.

Ya'll are supposed to be fans and know Axl so well but you fail to see that this thread and what most of you are saying is exactly what Axl hates and part of the reason why he did disappear for 10 years.

I agree with Madison here. And image has *ALWAYS* been extremely important in music and rock. Shit, GNR's image was one of the things that distinguished them from the pack. Even during the grunge period, bands were going out of their way to dress down to capture an image.

All that aside, even dressing down for a plane flight, that's just a bad fuckin look he's got going on there. Doesn't mean the end of the world, but the tabloids are much more agressive than back in GNR's heyday and you don't want him resurfacing and being ridiculed on the "Worst Dressed" lists--they aren't going to care if he's at the airport or at a club. Bottom line is, he's making a first/new impression to many in the masses and he could dress relaxed AND still have a much better look.

The point is that while looks matter to you and others (quite shallow I may add) they most definitely do not matter to Axl Rose.

No offense Madison, but image is more important to a woman than a man. Axl is 44 years old for crying out loud. Too many of us are living in the past, it's not the late 80's or early 90's anymore. I found this GNR song on the net. Anyone heard it? I have no clue when it was recorded. It sounds like a demo. Possibly a CD outtake? Im not even sure this is the title of the thing, the lyrics have "just another sunday" as the chorus.

Why is everyone saying Axl is being a dick here anyway? It was Slash who said the things about VR bandmates, not Axl.

I think too many people care way too much whether they like Axl and/or Slash or not. I could care less if either one or both are complete assholes, I just like the music... which we all have in common or we wouldn't be here.

I liked Dangerous Toys when they came out in '89. THeir first CD is pretty good and I still listen to it occasionally. He and axl do sound similar and it's no big deal for people to make the mistake of a badly recorded sound bite from a song. You need to just calm down, and finding this doesn't take balls.
