    I have a question, does anyone have just the questions and the answers of the chat from 2008? For me, as a not english speaker, it's very hard to read through all the pages! If anyone knows a page, or have just the questions and answers on a form or something please let me know, post here, or PM me. Thank you straight from the heart! :book::heart:

    Relationsship between Axl and Izzy

    Ist it right, that Izzy broke up with the band just after the release of UYI, after a few shows during the UYI Tour?

    No one ever spoke about the really reasons, except Izzy couldn't stand Axl's behaviour anymore. But no one every spoke about really situations, who is to blame, or what happend backstage. No one, no Slash, no Duff, no Matt, no one.

    So here is my question: Who come's that suddenly during the 1993 Tour, Izzy joined the band because of Gilbys broken hand? Does someone knows for how many dates? And, even more interesting, why did Axl on the same tour, dedicate Double Talkin' Jive to Izzy, instead of being thankful that he helped the band out? Questions, Questions, Questions.

    Is Izzy without any pride, that he came on stage with Axl again in 2006?

    Just a few questions, i was thinkin' about a lot - perhaps some of you might know, happy discussing! :)

    So, a guy on ebay listed this jacket. It is a crew issued jacket from the illusions tour that I have wanted for years now, only probabaly is, it usually goes fror somewhere between 450-550 and I'm simply not gunna pay that. So, he put a starting price of 50 bucks and I thought hey what the hell, I'll see hat I can pull. I email the guy and offer him 200 to end the auction and he very, very foolishly accepts. So here is my new jacket, I have seen listings before with much more detailed pictures, so let me just say the pictures do not do this jacket justice whatsoever.

    oh and to make up the funds of this, yhou guys should all send me offers on my custom Marc Vachon blazer that is only a few posts below. I'll probably go as low as 100 + shipping if you're a cool cat.

    ..i would like to make a fuckin' collection of ALL gnr singles and then frame it..

    Do you mean CD singles or vinyl - say 7" and/or 12".

    From which countries too? There is the odd single that is released in one country but not another - or has different packaging etc.

    If you have a look at the first pic - this is my complete UK discography of 7" singles (including a few variations of the Nightrain with a Patch and Sweet Child Remix with sticker, patch, badge etc).

    But there are a couple of ones like the Paradise City, Welcome to the Jungle and Sweet Child that were released in the US and Australia with a different picture sleeve. There are also some other different sleeves released in say Japan and Spain - look at the second pic for a heap of other 45's.

    Same goes for CD singles, it's even more numerous if you throw in promo's singles etc. The pic of my CD singles doesn't show all the Japanese ones I have either which makes it even more numerous. Plus there are still some promo ones I am missing. There are a few good websites to look at - "troccoli" who posts on here has a great collection and website for reference - here is the link:

    so i know no one is going to believe me. Whatever. Just a interesting tidbit. My brother flew out to LA for a job interview with Geffen. He got the job. What that consists of is basically going to concerts for free of Geffen artists and writing reviews of the shows and more importantly the crowds to see how "mainstream" and "popular" their artists are. So while he was there....he jokingly asked his boss....."So.....Chinese Democracy......early 2008 right?" and the guy said......."thats the plan.....if not......we aren't going to put it out.....and no one will pick him up." and the guy walked off. So take that for what you want.

    I wonder how many times the people at Geffen have had to alter that plan?
