  1. on the MTV music awards BH and Robin where standing next to each other at the end. My point: doesn't matter- I want to meet the retards that start these retarded rumors.  Probably the media trying to bring axl down.  Anyway for all you concert goers after christmas, be ready for some long rants....

PS-I seen them at 11/14 minneapolis.  Everyone looked happy to be rockin'...

  2. Question: Why is it Axl's fault?

-Just because he has a history of negative stuff what makes him the prime suspect for this last incident.  I'm not saying your wrong, but until I hear what happened from a credible source (Axl interview) I'm not going to blame it on anyone.  Buckethead could have the flu, Tommy could have an ear infection etc... These guys are human, they can get sick.  I don't agree that they should've cancelled the show so late in the program.  They shouldn't have let anyone in the venue knowing that a band member is sick.  Which makes me believe that is lie because it was so late in the game.  They could've easily told people at the door a band member is sick and the show will be re-sheduled.  But with so much crap and rumors going around I don't know what to believe until I hear it from a credible source.

  3. 2 cents on "master plan"-

Before and when GnR was on tour that was a good way to get fans and keep fans, but now with cancellations and riots that path is nearly F**KED.  If the tour continues people at the shows will know that their show can be stopped at the last minute, which is not a good thing for GnR.  If the tour is cancelled the only hope they have left is the release of the new CD.  I would say the sooner it comes out the better.

  4. Chances are high.   Why wouldn't GnR release a CD that has been in the works for 5-7 years, rumored 40-70 songs?  If the tour gets cancelled, which I hope it doesn't the album might come out sooner then you think because they can go back to the studio and finish anything they have left to do on it.

"Axl Is A No Show in Philly

Rose Is A Thorn  In Philly's Ass

Here we go again! Axl was a no show for the bands performance tonight at the First Union Center in Philadelphia.

The show was canceled an hour and a half after Guns n Roses was scheduled to go on.

    From The Philadelphia Inquirer:

For the second time since they began their North American tour a month ago, Guns N' Roses angered fans by failing to show for their performance - this time it was in South Philly.

Once it became clear last night that the rock band was not going to show for its scheduled gig at the First Union Center, fans began yelling and cursing, throwing bottles, chairs and ceiling tiles, and overturning trash cans and equipment. Several fights broke out, and paramedics reported transporting five people to area hospitals.

"Thankfully, I was in a club box," said Christina Wolf, 26, of Center City. "It was shielded... so I wasn't getting hit by any of the flying objects."

The sold-out concert, which was supposed to be a comeback for the reconstituted 1980s rock band, began at its scheduled time with a performances by local rock band Cky and DJ Mixmaster Mike. But after the DJ's unusually long set ended about 9:30, the stage went dark.

"By 11, there was nothing. No one had taken the stage," Wolf said. "It became obvious to the crowd that they weren't going to come on stage.

"Then there was a public announcement made that the band wasn't going to come on, and a reminder that it wasn't the First Union Center's staff's fault," Wolf said.

The announcement referred to "health issues" but did not elaborate. That elicited a chant from some in the audience of "Axl sucks!" - a reference to the notoriously erratic Guns N' Roses front man who failed to show at the tour's opening concert in Vancouver on Nov. 7.

"People had been booing," Wolf said, "but once the announcement happened, people actually started ripping the seats off the chairs and throwing beers."

Police reported no arrests, and fire officials were standing by for what they called a "minor civil disturbance."

A spokesman for the First Union Center said police and event staff "had no problem clearing the building. Everyone cleared the building really quickly."

Some of the fans, however, took out their frustrations in the parking lot. One concertgoer reported that someone had thrown a trash can through the windshield of his 1998 Toyota Camry, which had been in the H Lot.

Neither the promoter of the concert, Clear Channel Entertainment, nor the band explained what had happened.

On Nov. 7 in Vancouver, police used pepper spray to disperse thousands of irate fans rampaging outside after a Guns N' Roses concert was canceled because lead singer Axl Rose failed to appear. "

  7. Wonder what ever happened to the saying: "If you can't say anything good, that don't say nothing at all."

Truly if you had the people that went to the concerts, the fans and compared their reviews to the bad, non-fan, classical music listening reporters the results would be: 30/100000.  30 negative reviews and 100,000 positive reviews.  Seems like not one single concert has just a positive review.

  8. I think when the new Cd's come out people will be more comfortable using the name "GnR" cause all the new people would have made the songs...

I think anything is possible.  Would be cool if they did conquer the music industry because I could  see how they go from half-sold out Arena's to sold out Arena's to sold out Stadiums...
