Last week i watched à docu bout 30 seconds from mars called artifact. They were trying to release an album and got fucked over by there record company over and over again. And started a war against them with irving azoff as their manager. Gives you à good view of what axl also went through trying to release Chinese democracy.

haha spinal tapIf you want to consider playing the same market 3 times in twelve years as saturated than be my guest SoulMonster. While I agree that playing another 20k venue might be pushing it at this point, a marquee band like Guns N' Roses shouldn't have problems selling out a venue like the Sound Academy. The fact that I can still buy tickets a day or two out following their initial release is a rather dramatic proposition. Throughout the 2000s Toronto was one of the first markets to sell out. But as Zint points out, selling 3k tickets seems to be a challenge now. I don't discount there are multiple factors here (not ideal venue, Monday night, lower curiosity, etc.), but it's a sad state of affairs when a band like GNR can't move 3k tickets in a market that historically has been one of its strongest.

Watching it right now. Mindblowing docu. Nothing new but the way those albums kept the world In a lust like never before is still unbelievable. And in my mind those 2 albums are the best. Music/ lyrics and the entire vibe of that tour will never be matched by any band ever.
