Is it a stretch to think that GN'R would have taken a large $ hit if they didn't release it? Or that Axl changed his mind about releasing it because he didn't like something about it, perhaps some of the vocals? Certainly would have put RockFuel in a bad position. Maybe TB even lied about it being a former member holding it up rather than admit it was Axl and once RockFuel got their lawyers on it the story fell apart. Axl "I Don't Vant To Do Eet" Rose may be more of the problem than TB.

You have to admit that at least we have the talk happening again. I think up until really the Golden Gods, when Richard and DJ mentioned a new record, we'd gone at least a couple years since this talk. Now we had Axl even acknowledge it finally in Revolver and Dizzy is just backing this stuff up. i'd love to hear that they worked together in Vegas but who knows. Don't get me wrong, I don't expect anything for at least 2 years, minimum, but I believe we'll get to hear CD2 sooner or later. Probably more towards the later end of the spectrum. I also think he's going to record a couple new tracks for the album, mixing in a little something new. Whenever it finally comes out I'll be happy. Until then i'm content. Its been too long to bother getting frustrated, and even all the disrespect to Dizzy here is just a manifestation of frustration. I don't take any of the band's comments, when discussing new material, as blatant lies. I think its either because they believed or perhaps even have spoke up to light a spark up Axl's ass.

Scraped is without doubt one of the worst original GN'R songs (along with Get in the Ring, Shotgun Blues, My World, Silkworms and Riad & the Beduins). I can't listen to it now with the blipping during the verse, and if someone said that was intentional... then any faith I have in Axl delivering more masterpieces is dissapearing fast...

I like the song and the lyrics. I think everyone can relate, some days you feel like you can do anything and other days you feel like nothing goes right. For Axl I think this sense of highs and lows is even stronger as we've seen by his actions.

Very happy about the download as well, especially for the mp3. Bought the blu-ray but wasn't going to purchase digital, and now I am. Good job rockfuel.
