I really don't understand alot of the people on here running slash into the ground and don't say that you guys don't. Has everyone ever sat an thought for a second when it comes to Slash.

NEWSFLASH FUCKHEADS......Slash co-created this band,maybe not the current line-up but certainly he help'd in the making the greatest band ever. Alot of people on here praising the Nu-G'N'R just tell me this,How many Albums have they done together,last time i counted it was a big fucking 0,until Democracy is here it will stay as 0. Slash has been involved in 5 of them an still you people run him down.

IF it wasn't for the long shaggy hair man then the name G'N'R wouldn't be here. Christ...even the way Sweet child o mine wouldn't be or sound the way it was if slash wasn't about.

I often wonder on here with alot of you when you became a fan of the band,were you there back in the day??? Or are you just upset that slash decided to create his own band because he had now control in g'n'r.

I love the new line up and have nothing but respect and admaration for the line up axl has now created but 4 once guys,stop walking around with your head up your ass searching for a light switch. You all know im fucking bang-on Correct by what i say.

Lets just all welcome Bumblefoot or who ever into the fold and be thankfull Axl N his hired hands are back but lets not forget where the origions of this band came from.

Great, GNR can still be a "freak show." At least Robin now looks a lot better than 2002. Axl looked MUCH better without those goddamn jerseys. Jeans and black shirt are more rock n roll than fuckin sports jerseys. Good setlist. Sebastian Bach rocks like always. The leaks were good to hear, but what about Catcher? That's the best of the leaks by far.

Now that all the haters know that Slash is not back, maybe they will all go the fuck away and listen to their Slash's Snakepit CDs. If Slash is such a god, all his releases should be stellar, right? Too bad those cd's suck. Slash is only as good as the musicians he surrounds himself with.

The two Snakepit CD's rock like a motherfucker. All the guys went on to make some kick ass rock albums after GNR. Izzy's albums are awesome, Gilby's album rocked, and of course the Snakepit. I mean I'll take It's Five O'Clock Somewhere anyday over Silkworms or Oh My God. Granted, the new songs in general have kicked a lot of ass, but there are still those few atrocities.

I don't think they will release an E.p.....like does any1 really do E.P's anymore???? i thinks its more of a chance that they will do a double album,a bit like the chilli Peppers new album,since Axl SUPPOSEDLY HAS so much NEW material.

Theres too many arguments about Old Vs New. Everyday its the same, ''stop living in the past'' or ''new band are not as technically good as old''

I dont see any point in debating this. Will it bring the old band back if you talk about them enough? No it wont. I would like to see a reunion as much as anybody here but I dont go on and on about the old band, the chances are a reunion is probably not going to happen, so there is no point in comparing the old and new bands, because the new is all anybody should be interested in at this moment in time.

Lets give our support to Axl and the current Guns N' Roses lineup and stop these pointless threads.

To truly be a GNR diehard has nothing to do with the music it has to do with your life experiences. A GNR die hard has gone thru some kind of shit in there life that only Axl can express properly and sincenobody in music has been more real than Axl we attach ourselves. Who here can say that Axl has not changed there lives? So as i said we all have somekind of emotional baggage and it is truly enduring that a man that was once king of the world still cant cope with life any "better" than we can . Shit if Axl takes 15 years to make an album maybe there is hope that we heal ouselves too? Comments anybody?

A lot of folk on the board seem to be taking for granted that the nu-Guns will be doing a massive arena tour when the time comes to hit the road. Although i agree that these upcoming club shows in NYC will easily sell out, it's fair to point out that when the real tour starts in promotion of CD later this year there is no guarantee that G'n'R will be able to perform at the level they did on their previous massive arena tours. A lot of the Euro summer shows are festivals with other bands involved, so these don't really show that Guns are the major draw. So, IF CD sales slow after the initial rush to buy it from the faithful, then the band will surely have to down grade from arenas just like lots of other big bands have over the years.

Remember, this is an act with a bad rep in the US/Canada after the last aborted tour, they've also been away from the big league for some 13 years and of course, the oriiginal guys the older fanbase identified with are no longer involved. This means there are absolutely no guarantees that G'n'R will be as massive as they once were. Perhaps the biggest indicator of their waning fanbase though are US sales figures of the 'live era' and 'greatest hits' which stand at a poultry (in comparison) 312,000 and 2.5 million respectively. So what do YOU think. Can Guns still deliver arena rock to sold out masses or will they have to play smaller venues and accept that the glory days are over? rock1

LOok,as long as Axl turns up then of course there shows will sell out! Theres more fans out thier than most care to realise or even contemplate! Easy answer IMO!

Better would be my choice easily,not that i prefer it to the other leaks but to the fact that most of the general public are still into that sort of linken park style sound,i maybe wrong saying this view but if you look at the u.s chart Linken park are really the only ones to break firmly into it. And to anyone asking why i compare "Better" to Linken park....thats obvious! You just have to listen to the solo 2 an a half minites into the song to think its Linken park/NIN sort of sound!!! Maybe if Axl's ballsy enough,maybe he'ill release a track no one has a fucking clue about either!
