  1. Can you give a little more of the thought process behind this, Subs? Besides NuAttitude, what are we talking about?

A VIP/supporters section has been discussed behind the scenes since..... Well, since I bought the forum really in some shape or form. In fact it's probably the only idea that's never been properly pushed through and implemented for whatever reason (mainly we couldn't agree the formatting).

It's just been something that's come up again recently so we've pushed it up the agenda again internally and we all agree to do it but unsure on.

-- where it goes in the current layout

    -- the content

    -- how many subsections etc

Also, peeps who have donated large sums (such as your good self) I've always felt we should try and do a little more. We really can't think of too much other than modding your own section which has generally been well received -- HV first came up with the idea (oh, or was it zint? Anyway....)

Happy to accept all thoughts good and/or bad.

I'll go with the majority view

  2. A section as described above would be a reason for me to not donate and become a supporter.

Respect that soul :) happy for ALL feedback here.

That said, you've not donated in 6 years so.... There's never been a reason to in 6 years so I'd be more concerned (no offence!) if a few supports go "hate this don't do it"

  3. More info on the way but.....

New supporters VIP only section being developed -- "attitude" CAN be developed within that private VIP section. High donators (TBC) can moderate the content #dementedsectionsoon

Prob a GNR section -- an AG type section (new name) and an attitude section.

Anyone donating $100 or more will have the option (they can decline) to moderate the entire section.

Currently magisime would be the only mod if he wanted....

    Thoughts?

Both ER and myself will make ourselves available for any questions

  4. Lol wood! Duh!! That's the worst post you've ever made here. Ha, you're not perfect *sticks tongue out*

Yeah I'll say bored by Monday evening -- either that or your neighbours will have complained, there's a minor accident, the weather is crap again or there's a fault in the pool and the water leaks out.

URGH! I actually hate myself right now what the fuck is wrong with me, lol

  5. Either dig away ground to level it out or build a foundation that is level.

Yeah never thought of that!Yeah, dig out your garden to get it all nice as straight for a kids paddling pool tht they'll only be able to play in for a few weeks before the weather turns and/or, they get bored of it. Yes you'll have ruined the grass and have to spend money to out it right but it'll keep the kids happy!!!

I couldn't care less about grass. Why is it important? We can have a beautiful ornate and crafted garden in approx 5 years when they start to leave home.Kids are only young once. Grass is replaceable.I'm thinking sand might be the way to go.

Pfft.I'm with mr alfierose -- bloody kids get everything these days! To ruin your garden to keep them happy seems ridiculous to me!"Ornate" -- is your garden big?

Ha, someone's in a snarky mood today! :P Alfie, does the pool have a pump? If not, (even if it does) I would have to dump the water out everyday, it will get filthy with suntan lotion, pee, grass and dirt, etc. It also becomes a breeding ground for mosquitos if left stagnant for a while. I don't think destroying your garden is necessary for something the kids will most likely be bored of within a week or so.You can try putting something flat and sturdy underneath it like a large piece of ply wood, and build up the end where it's not level by wedging something underneath. I would suggest emptying the pool and moving it to another spot in the evening this way the grass gets to recover.

I'm hungover ok there I said it!!

A plank of wood? Lol -- yeah cause that would hurt when kids jump in ;)

  7. I'm with your husband, sorry!

I came home from work with a similar issue yesterday -- it ruins the grass if left out. Why do you want to level the ground for a kids paddling pool!?!?!? So it's a bit uneven? And? Just fill it up and let them play on slightly uneven ground!

    Ha - I'm grumpy this morning :)

  8. Yeah blacklisted my arse! I get emails answered within the hour ad normally minutes! By one of two contacts from management and/or a band member. Go figure! *rolls eyes*

The answer was as brief as the question. I asked "can you confirm the festival date in Mexico and are you happy for us to say you've confirmed this" REPLY "not confirmed by Axl/management as of yet, no"
