If back in 2002 when they were touring, I came onto the forum and said we would still be without an album in April/May of 2006, all of you would have chastised me.

So yeah i just edited Better to get rid of that middle part.... sounds better now (excuse the pun)... though i couldnt do it perfect so you can here where i changed it.... but anyway still cool, changed it from 2:09 to the bit where that last solo kicks in. I tried a couple of different spots but this one worked out best imo.

Another good thing about triple j is they give new bands a chance. eg. on comercial raido you would here somethin like "and this is a new song comin up of blah blah's new album".Whereas you might here somethin like this on Triple J "this is a new three piece out of sydney who have their first ep comin out this month! Let us know what you think"

That's the best part about JJJ -- supporting local bands. Such a shame when the commercial stations latch onto the songs and play them so often you get sick of them though...

shows it's not a great standard when you get sick of the music!, i mean it's not like you listen to the radio 24/7 and they play 8 times a day!, jjj can't tell the difference between talent and crap, so they just put anything on just because it's new.

Triple M used to be a rock station.. which was cool... but now they just play anything to get their ratings up....

In conclusion... listen to jjj all day and listen to the shit songs and then you'll love it.... makes sense in a dumb sorta way!

Yeah I heard that this morning on Triple J. Maybe someone should give them some more links to Better and a few other tracks. Usually in that segment they play entire songs.

I was thinking both those things haah.... ages ago when they came out i thought about sending the some songs to jjj but i never did...

I know new gnr tracks have been getting spins alot in the US... but there has been nothing heard of GNR over here... That is till this morning.

Library Spice (chick that finds new music for JJJ), played 45sec of IRS to Jay and the Doctor (radio announcers/Guys from Frenzal Rhomb), after which they commented "I can just see everyone round australia doing the woah woah (axl scream thing). Pretty funny. Library Spice then went on to comment that the word is management leaked the songs to see if they would get positive feedback, so then they would decide whether to put out the record.

Anyway nothing really new... just cool to here some gunners on the J's (national radio station).
