fender makes some really nice little amps for reasonable prices.
alot of them have built in effects, whistles, spokey dokes and milkshake machines too.
-
i meant the fudge bannana swirl.
silly mongoose.
-
shit damn, thats even tasty-er.
good on ya!!

i guess if you feel that an extra thousand dollars means a better buy, then thats cool. im gonna take my saved thousand and look into one and a half new axes though.
I paid $100 less for my gibson special than I would have for an epi standard, which didnt sound as clear
nice find.
in all honesty, if i found an affordable, used gibby like that i would snap it up in a nanosecond too.

And its such an amazing artform to touch steel wire on a plank of wood.
i agree, banjo's are very hard to take seriously.

Is there music any good?
and they look gay
no kidding.
seriously man.

take everything you've ever learnt about about theory and burn it.
do what you like and let sound be your teacher.
hanging up on what others say will only stifle you creatively.
-
naturally.
are they artists?
no.
seriously, ive never met a drummer with creative insight worth mention.
Playing drums is an art!
so is this:
we can discuss "art" and it's relative nature until the apocalypse. individual perception is something that always interests me. like, how i'm perpetually right and how everyone else can be so consistantly wrong.
my son bangs pots and pans with wooden spoons for shits and giggles. perhaps he's trying to convey his darkest inner tumult with a cadence driven expressionism in hopes of finally being understood and accepted by his peers and admirers.
in all probability though, he's just a silly little monkey having a good time.

And I actually like the Mars Volta sound better than At the Drive-In.
utter insanity you type.
i do indeed love cedrics voice and always have, but its quite apparent that all of ATDI's talent both musically and lyrically went to sparta.

and also, i believe theres still to this day, alot of cultural stigmata from gibson purists when it comes to japanese made epiphone. in the 60's and 70's any guitar that wasn't built in the USA was referred to as "cheap japanese crap". naturally those old stereotypes were biased in conception, we all know that japanese craftsmanship is amongst the vangurad of any technology based industry. (along with the germans and swiss)
there are many who would now argue that american made gibson has let its product quality slide quite abit over the past decade or so, and that japanese made instruments are crafted with a certain amount of pride and technical skill that is unsurpassed.
just a thought, because really, to hear my epi dot next to a gibbie 335, or my epi j-45 next to a gibby j-45 blindfolded, i would be very hard pressed to notice the difference.

T_G, I dissagree. A Gibson is waaaay better than an epiphone if you can afford it. I bought myself a Gibson Les Paul Special which I found for a little bit moret han the Epi LP standard. I p[layed the both of em. The Gibson sound and fell was WAY different. It just had a different feel really. I can't explain it. The Epi didnt sit right, but something about the Gibson...It's jsut different. An Epi may look like a Gibson, but when I palyed the two back-to-back, I felt a clear difference.
naturally it felt different.
you wanted to justify your lavish loss of money, so you convinced yourself that it was better.
seriously though, we know that all guitars sound and feel different. there are even noticable differences in identical models made back to back. every instrument has its own soul and voice.
i guess if you feel that an extra thousand dollars means a better buy, then thats cool. im gonna take my saved thousand and look into one and a half new axes though.

"met."
as opposed to "list famous musicians who also happen to be drummers."
i bet the ratio of drummers to people with actual artistic ability is knee slappingly low.
stereotypes save us all time.
drummers are filler goons and a dime a dozen.
-
nice.
spiderbait is a great aussie band.
ill be seeing rise against twice in april here.
love that kid's scream.
-
naturally.
are they artists?
no.
seriously, ive never met a drummer with creative insight worth mention.

does it have an arch top?
hey seller guy, im betting that this kid will pay double what youre asking, just based on this one stupid question alone.

so, by labeling your musical tatse "ecclectic", you simply mean that you listen to anything a 12 year old radio retard would.
next time you feel the urge to use a nonsensical buzz word, make sure the "definition" shoe, fits the size "dumb" foot, in your mouth.

Come on people can you guys or girls really throw in a Cd and listen to whole thing. i mean Remember throw in a AC/DC record or tape (thats what it use to be!!!) and listen to the whole thing. I mean theres some bands that I like today, but I still like the old stuff.
So now I ask everyone here what kinds of bands u today and the bands back than.
Back than Guns N' Roses (Orignal) all the way fuck yeah
Today VR all the way
jesus christ.
TURN OFF YOUR FUCKING RADIO!

generally, when i see a band name in this section that makes me shudder into a puke frenzy, i just scroll over it and ignore the fact that people could be retarded enough to seek acknowledgement for their filthy taste in music.
the word creed however struck such a violent discourse into my heart that i felt the need to address it.
if you find creed pleasing to your ears, you seriously, honest to god, need to back away from your computer screen slowly, walk to the bathroom, find the largest, rusty-est set of scissors in the house, and drive those fuckers RIGHT ino the side of your mentally challenged head(remember to take off the hockey helmet first). if by chance, youre not old enough to handle scissors by yourself, ask a grown up for help. trust me, they'll be more than happy to assist you.
christ knows i would.

jane's used to be incredibly cool when i was wee.
that last album really made the bile in my throat rise however.
the white, self titled album, still holds water after all these years.
up from the catacombs
i ran with the angel again
he took the high road
i took the low road
we both wore dirty faces

dont listen to the last guy.
epiphone makes an awsome product, and that particular stick is perfect for you.
-
epiphone is the best thing that ever happened to guitars.
i dont know anyone with an IQ higher than 68 that would shell out the cash for a gibson when epiphone has done such a fucking stellar job at recreating their top of the shelf instruments for a fraction of the price. the only difference is the finish. its done with a polyurethane coating and because of that the wood doesnt breath. this does jack shit to the actual sound however.
ive owned a epi j-45 elitist for afew months and write with nothing else because of its magical properties. dirt cheap compared to the gibson.
i also recently picked up an ebony dot for just over 6 canadian and it sounds identical to the gibbie 335 which usually runs between 12 and 15. fuck gibson. epiphone is style.
What song will you
