Guys, thought I'd throw my hat in for this. I have yet to see GNR in concert. Was on my way to one of the Hammerstein shows in 2006 and got in a car accident on the way, and needless to say did not make the concert.

I posted this in the tickets section but thought it might get more exposure here.

I bought 3 tickets for the Detroit show on December 1 and they announced today that they are playing in Youngstown, which is about 3 hours closer to me. So I am selling the three tickets to the Detroit show. Here's the info:

Seats 14-16

Will sell them for the price of the tickets ($60 each, $180 total) so you get the tickets without having to pay for the Ticketmaster fees.

Anyone know what the difference in row CC and row E is? E is more expensive and I would think that it would mean CC is farther, but based on the seating chart CC is actually closer. I'm from Ohio and have never been there so any help would be appreciated!

Sweet Jesus this is hard to read. How can people be so hostile towards something like this? How could any normal person be expected to perform to their highest of levels when there is literally a monsoon raining down on them?

Cause he and many, many other bands have done it before. The rain is NOT an excuse. His lack of preparation is...and that voice??? What the hell happened. Ok to not be at O2 standards but that was arguably worse than '02 standards.

Yea I've seen people perform in the rain many times, but its not like this was typical rain or even hard rain. Go watch the Taipei performance of November Rain in 09'. That doesn't come close to the amount of rain they had to deal with last night.

Again, good performance? Hellllllll no. But its not like they were playing in ideal or less than ideal circumstances. So I'm gonna give them the benefit of the doubt and not write them off. They deserve that much.

If you watch the videos you can see just the amount of water that comes off the stage with every step he takes. If a quarterback has a bad game during bad weather the first thing that happens is the announcers say something to the effect of the weather really affecting them.

Axl has a bad day due to the same conditions? Well then he's lost it, didn't put time in, blah blah.

Does that mean Axl turned in a gutty performance for the ages? Hell no. It was clearly sub par for anyone let alone Axl. But I think that before we crucify the man we should give him the benefit of the doubt that maybe the freezing pouring down rain may have affected his voice/concentration.

I'm sure every time the man took a breath he was just inhaling rain water. So I'll wait till the next before I pass judgement.

I cant tell you how much I second this! I was at both of those shows as well and I would really love to know if they will be coming closer to the area. If not I need to start making some arrangements for possibly Detroit. Has anyone else heard anything about something closer to the Cleveland/Pittsburgh area?

Regarding all this crap, speculation, rumour / half truths

Im pleasantly surprised to see how most of the community has come to defend the band and are not behind the release of any personal / private docs.

We support this band and love it. This is not about leaks of music, snippets or anything that we may desire. The personal / private nature of what is claimed is simply a fucking disgrace - it really shows how much people here love this band and are in total support of them.

Long live GNR and the amazing fanbase that i am proud to be part of.

I'll definitely co-sign that! The band doesn't deserve that after all they went through they gave us a great album in CD. I cant wait for whats in store!! Fuck MSL and whatever he has. If he does have something and posts it I for one will skip that out of respect for this band.

Hey I'm looking for the old Slash Snakepit Epiphone Guitar. It was my first guitar and had to sell it and now am trying to replace it. I know there are a couple on Ebay, but I'd prefer to avoid that site.
