this is the perfect time for Skid Row to not reunite with Sebastian Bach again

I expect to see a GNR/Skid Row/Halestorm tour in 2025 now. What will GNR look like is the question? 40th anniversary of the AfD lineup...

Everything taste and opinions but really? Blind Melons version over Steppenwolfs? Not for me…

I meant as far as cover versions. Steppenwolf's original is clearly amazing & real.

I think I just got disappointed because I knew something was up when Robinson & Slash were hanging out at the CMAs. Was expecting the greatest song ever made lol...It's like I already know what The Pusher from them will sound like. It's just some oddly specific thing to me that I already know too well.

The Killing Floor is great though. Can't stop listening to it

  3. Had no idea Slash was going to be there. I was aware of this show last night because Chris & Rich Robinson of The Black Crowes played a song with Darius Rucker.

Really wish The Robinson bros. would've got in on this for renditions of Call Me The Breeze & Freebird.

For being so closely related in prime years, musical stylings, awards show appearances, etc, etc... The Black Crowes & GNR never seem to cross paths much. They almost traded guitarists at one point in 1991 & Slash played a song with them in 90 maybe? That's all I can think of.

  4. There's a couple childhood friends of mine on facebook that work events at Soldier Field in Chicago...Anyways, they had a little post about how fun it was going to be working the Guns N' Roses shows over July 4th weekend. These are women that would never come up with some story like that, unless, it had been mentioned at their job. So take that for what it's worth.

  5. The song isn't new...floated around here years ago. It's by "Handsome Hank and the Lonely Boys":

yeah but for some weird ass reason, they say "grass is blue" in that version =/

I can't tell if you're joking or not, but it's because they're a bluegrass band.

  6. I live in Bend & wouldn't drive to Portland to see fakegnr if it were free, much less pay $100 to watch some glorified coverband. I assume there's many more like me & that's probably why no one is going.

  7. or maybe because Ames Iowa has a smaller population than Iowa city?

I mean, how could it ever be that Axl's selling less tickets in a small city than a state's namesake city brimming with people?it makes absolutely no sense!

Since you clearly have no idea what you are talking about, I'll fill you in. Ames, Iowa is a top midwestern concert site since it draws from Iowa State Univ./des moines, IA/kansas city/omaha, NE/Illinois border towns & all the other good sized Iowa cities since it is centrally located & at the intersection of two major interstates. Ames has a base population of 54k, Iowa City has 64, so I doubt that's the reason tickets are barely selling as compared to the 93 Iowa City show. I am very familiar with that part of the country & laughed when I saw fakegnr had booked arena shows in both Ames & Minny. Just a bad, bad idea that shows how out of touch this orginization is with reality. Someone still seems to think it's 1992.

  8. One has to wonder why Axl has never released his album. One would think if he really had something that was groundbreaking or another classic it'd have been released years ago. These leaks we here are all old & some of the songs are rumored to be UYI era material or shortly thereafter. On top of that, the "new" songs do absolutely nothing for me & despite a few interesting vocal melodies here or there, they sound neutered. I think the reason we have yet to see CD is simply because he can't come up with any thing good enough to live up to the standards the real GNR set. What else could it possibly be?

  9. am I the only one who wondered what Axl sounded like when he screamed "I'm gonna kill you"

anyway, seems like this whole thing's been blown up to target Axl from the security guards side (in this report) you can tell he's trying to sound innocent/ suck up to the press.

anyway, Axl's a little weak bitch and it took 5 guys to keep him down for some blood?

Do you have a brain? Does it work? Do you understand that someone has to be perfectly still so the nurse or whoever can get the needle in the vein? It's not like they just needed to hold him on the ground, they had to make sure he couldn't squirm like a little bitch. One of them could of kept him down, it's the keeping some raging drunk still that is the tricky part.

  10. You guys all realize that Axl is a very small & to my knowledge, has never beaten anyones ass other than a few girlfriends. Axl Rose is not tough, he got took down by this guy even after throwing the first few punches & had to resort to biting to get away. Total bitch move, sorry to break it to you all.

  11. God, this security guard sounds like a whiny little bitch to me.

So does, " where's my party?? I was promised a party."

Unfortunately, now that the security guard has opened his mouth he might not be getting much or any money. Thats what he gets for opening the doors to the media so soon. He could've made millions since he kept it low for a while.

Tough cookies for the poor loser now.

As for the "guest of honor". I think more hours in anger management might be more suitable once he gets back off his clouds he calls "World Tour".

I assume the entire incident was captured by hotel security cameras since it took place in their main lobby. I expect this one to be settled out of court.

  12. While a reunoin seemed unlikely anytime soon, I found what Adam Bomb had to say interesting. He's the guy who was opening or whatever for Adler on his little European tour. Out of nowhere the guy says that Izzy showed up in Spain or Portugal, after having been asked by Axl to do so, just trying to see if Adler was like capable of playing & being a functional person. I think this was fairly recently & it was for the purpose of the AFD lineup playing together.

  13. It's funny how Merck accidently showed how unruly & out of control Axl was that morning. Why would it take 5 officers to hold him down for a simple blood test? And the police have every right to administer blood tests to get an accurate blood/alchohol level once you've been arrested. Axl is lucky he wasn't charged with more serious offenses & should just say he got to drunk.
