  1. It's ironic that Baz is always slagging this version of Skid Row, saying it's a bait & switch, it's only 2/5 & this & that. Then he turns around and helps promote fakeGNR, who are letting him get much pub for his solo career, when fake GNR is using all the same exact tactics. Weird.

  2. Axl was looking for a guitarist. Sorum took him to cirque de solie. It's a circus, not a band(seriously). Finck was playing with the circus's band & Axl said he wanted to join gnr. Sorum said, "you mean to play alongside Slash?". Axl said, "No, to replace Slash." That's the story as best I remember it. One would assume that they already knew who he was going to the circus, so it probably wasn't just a coincidence that a NIN chronie happened to catch Axl's eye out of nowhere.

  3. I think I've heard before that maddy is really from way back. From sometime before Slash quit. So maybe it's just the new members take on something that was already written.

  4. Axl looks great and very much into it!

    You'd say he's having fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!

But...how come they say it was ALL acustic when they had electric guitar and electric piano???

That's what I was wondering.

BTW, NR is one of my least favorite GNR songs & if you have some besides Slash playing the solo's, it pushes it that much further down the list. I imagine for alot of people the solo's are the best part since the rest is pretty much fluff, that's why people are picky about them.

  5. Uh, they don't. Kid Rock is garbage now. He only appeals to white trash hicks, not New York rock fans, or GnR fans. His first couple of albums went platinum, and then his career dropped like a rock. I think his last album went tin foil.

He's old news, and having him on stage doesn't benefit Axl at all. It just shows how out of touch he is with today's music scene.

TIN FOIL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Nice!!!! I think he is so rich now though, that he paid axl to let him play with'm.

  7. Kid Rock is a whore, he didn't even know the to Paradise City. Go & yodel in the valley KR, you fucking attention whore. Or better yet, pay Jessse James to ride motorcycles with ya, you unckle kracker loving ball licker. Go assfuck Little Joe's corpse or something, later.

  8. Just so all you kids recognize.......those pics would be a bizillion times cooler with Slash & Izzy there throwin' down on the electric guitar. Not to mention, Duff "The King of Beers" McKagan, laying down a funky bassline. Don't hate, just keeping it real.

P.S. Steven Adler is still alive!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Fuck yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  9. I repeat!!!!!!!!! Axl Rose owes the general public absolutely nothing!!!!!!!!!!! All he owes anyone is a decent show once they pay for a ticket. Trust me, if you had done as many lines as him, douchebags after a show would the biggest grandparent moment!!!!!!!!!!!! unless your some 20 something with fake tits, know your role, go to the show & be happy. Get your own life. He isn't some baseball player fulfilling a shoe contract, he's a rockstar!!!!!!!!! Doesn't anyone know what that means anymore????????????????????

  10. All Axl owes anyone is putting on a good show for those that paid for a ticket to see it. So what if he doesn't want to get his pic taken with a bunch of douchebags hanging out in the alley after a show or sign something for some fanboy stalking him out at a club? Celebrities don't owe the public anything but putting on a good show when paid to do so. Maybe some celebs are cool with mingling, if some aren't, that's their right. People expect waaay too much nowadays.

  11. I completely agree that this incarnation comes off as a Vegas-type act. Other than the fact that they tour, it's no different than a David Lee Roth playing Van Halen songs in a Vegas show. Hire some musicians, tweak the songs a little & throw in some fancy stage effects. I think Axl will have to deal with this perception as long as his act is based on covering the older GNR catalogue. What I can't understand is why he wouyld want to play old school GNR songs & face this criticism when he supposedly has all these new songs ready to go. I thought he was the one who wanted to grow musically & leave the past behing? Guess not.

  12. From all I've read online, it certainly looks like Stinson is with Soul Asylum for the longhaul. He's on the website, in all the band photos & still a band member on updated webpages. Maybe SA made him a full partner & showed Tommy the money? Regardless, if he really was going to play all these shows with GNR, shouldn't he be rehearsing again instead of playing shows with SA this month? I can see this becoming a trainwreck any day now. WTF is going on here?

  13. Ill prolly get flamed to death for this.

I was watching SCOM on YouTube the other day, and I thought the weak links were Finck as I don't like his way of playing, and AXL. I really hate that new voice of his.

Finck & more importantly, Botaxl, were/are obviously the weak links in fakeGNR. I felt bad for axl during the VMA's & those NA tour shows, that's how lame I think he's become. I always wonder what everyone working for him really thinks & if they're just too scared to tell him about his hair/wardrobe/voice. Seriously, what could some cool guy like Stinson really think about axl nowadays, besides it's cool he gets paid for not doing much. Back in the day, Stinson ripped on Axl/GNR for the same shit he's now playing an active role in. Weird.
