I think the matter is not the promo or the not-promo, but the matter is... why are they touring?... I mean... as busngabb said, the band won't be promoting his new album, new single, or new something... all the tours are made 'for something', no band makes tours 'just because YES'... it's the thing that makes this tour (as did in 2002) a weird tour... and that's why I think it's all for the money... there's no explanation at all out of this one.

it is guns n roses, they dont need publicity maybe a little but everyone knows them, look how fast the NYC shows sold out and that had no advirtisment

I think NOBODY knows them... all we know is Axl IS in Guns N'Roses... nobody knows no more... maybe everybody knows a trademark, but not the band or its members.

It's damn annoying isn't it. The band is weird. Nothing else to say about it. Every convention or logical idea is rejected, every chance for publicity is too.

Here we are in 2006 and the band:

- Still has no new singles out

- Still has no album out

- Still hasn't done anything in public since 2002

- Still hasn't got a confirmed lineup

- Still hasn't got a website. I mean can ANYONE name ANY other band, which does not have an up to date website? Even the local bands in my town has their own bloody website updated regularly.

Queue the yes man to say 'It's part of a masterplan' or 'They will when its time'. But the truth is that the band is just annoying and stupidly mis-managed by its member(s?) and Mercky-Merck.

Sorry for telling you this but... stop dreaming... , there won't be a reunion, at least not with Duff... he announced last week he will be the second guitar player for Alice In Chains in their new tour (by the way, Alice In Chains plays in Madrid the same day as Guns N'Roses will, but in different venues).

I'd like to hear now the 'real version' of your version... I men, the 'not-accelerated' versión... it sounds cool, yeah.

Bullshitting is saying GUNS N'ROSES IS BACK!! GUNS N'ROSES IS IN GEFFEN!! Well... don't start wanking with the idea it's obvious that the promo starts, and it's obvious that Gunners still in Geffen, or something like that... Guns N'Roses is listed on Geffen site because Geffen has 21 items of Guns N'Roses (cd's, dvd's, vhs's, etc.) and it's simply a way of sell more stuff.

I guess the concert will be incredible and i live in Venezuela, is near, of course , but i got a lil problem: i need my father autorization to get my pass i don´t got that!!!!!!!

We don't even really know if it's true or not. These are just rumours, although to me this one seems fairly credible.

And I don't put much stock into what Merck says (that goes double for a quote he made like two months ago). Not because I think he's incompetent like some fans do, but because GN'R is being so secretive. They obviously have some grand plan and are IMO not going to tell us exactly what is going on right now.

BILLBOARD doesn't publish rumours... if they put this on the web is 'cause it's true.

About what you say about Merck... I'm completely agreed with you... of course he is not gonna tell us every thing that's happening around the band (although some people thinks he does)... Merck says bla bla bla, and it's fully credible?... I don't think so.

Well... we don't know who will be up in the stage... but at least we know who won't be there.

Better is the best of the 'new' leaked songs... well... it's at the same level of IRS... maybe I think that because of the voice; in these songs the voise is more 'old Guns N'Roses', d'you know what I mean?. It's not that I don't like the 'new' voice, but I feel it as... empty.

The loop on Much Music said that Slash and Duff WILL be on tour with GNR this summer.... and that Velvet Revolver are STILL together and will break during the tour.... just heard it....

Maybe they're talking about an exclusive UK show with Guns N'Roses and Metallica, both bands together in the same event...

"Spin magazine got an early jump on April Fool's Day with Chuck Klosterman's deceptively straight-faced 'review' of 'Chinese Democracy', the infamously long-awaited GUNS N' ROSES album. While we may have glazed over the 'April 1, 2006,' stamp at the beginning of the review, posted on Spin's Web site last week, we began to get suspicious when Klosterman wrote of the still-unreleased record, '[Axl] Rose has also retained his pathological distaste for the media, lyrically attacking the editors of Vanity Fair, MTV personality Sway, numerous teenage bloggers, and the City Hall reporter for the Cincinnati Enquirer [who, curiously, has never written about pop music].' Normally download and Reading don't share headliners but perhaps Guns N'(&) Roses are big enough to play both, especially as Slash has now rejoined the band.

I think Glenn is just a, like it's said here in Spain, 'I wanna be but I'm not'; if Axl would have so important news I think he wouldn't tell them to a fan, but to the press, or to ALL his/their fans... that's what I think
