  1. Last night I listened to good old GN'R for the first time in ages! I'm into a bit of everything. I like No Doubt now!

Same, i've got into them recently. Lovely voice.

Also Arctic Monkeys. I know many here can't stand 'em, but I just can't get enough of 'em.

(Rock on Slashs Slave rock3 )

  2. Arctic monkeys is a rad name :| I love it, and i love their music...

^^Correct. What a great guy you are.

...plus the name came before the band, so they obviously did put some thought into it, Volitan.

    ssiscool, just no dude.

  3. Guitar: Vintage Les Paul > Marshall Guv'nor Distortion Pedal > Marshall MG15CDR

Chrisi Rokks: Why do you have an epiphone in your 'dream setup'?

Raw Power: Your setup kicks ass! rock3

Erm, it's not my DREAM set up but it's what i plan on buying in the next year with my budget

    ok, cool

  4. This year the album hasn't come - it ain't the first.

Lots of other years came before this, but this year ain't been the worst.

So goodbye to you CD, so long farwell.

I can hear gnr fans crying, we've all been through hell.

So I'll look for you stalking in the gnr section tonight.

Although you probably won't be there, oh well, goodnight.

Nice new avater btw, Mango :rofl-lol:

  5. If you're a beginner, i wouldn't splash out a load of money.

Obviously start with good quality kit, but as a beginner just make sure you get a decent good quality beginners setup. I don't mean to be rude or anything, but from personal experience, you probably won't be able to tell much difference between tone, and different guitars etc. I've been playing for a while now and as you develop your playing, you obviously do appreciate more expensive equipment.

Like johnezz said, go down to your local music shop and ask the people for advise, thats the best thing i think

  6. no bends or anything

just volume knob swells and feedback and its 100% that way cause I have the tab book

If you've got the tab book you'd know that there are bends.

But you are correct about using swells, and feedback.

Although feedback is sometimes hard to achieve, so using a sustain effect might be useful.
