I think TWAT is a great song, but I can't stop listening to Better. I've probably listened to that song 100 times in the last couple of days, and everytime I do, I notice something I hadn't before and I l like it even more. I really think Chinese Democracy is going to be the first great album of the decade.

I think it'd be awesome if this was true, but I won't believe it till I see it.

Who cares what a few papers are saying about the new songs? The album isn't out and it won't effect sales in any way whatsoever if the album lives up to half the hype. And obviously unfinished songs aren't going to be Axl's best work, they aren't finished. We haven't heard the finished songs, and the songs that leaked could be dramatically different when the album is released.

Anything that comes out will be heavily criticized anyway if it doesn't sound like old GNR, and we all know that it won't, and it shouldn't.

When I think of AFD, I think of the original line up and I honestly don't want to hear a re-recorded studio version. That to me is a cover if only one member is still involved.

Don't get me wrong, I fully support the new band and I think of them as another chapter, but I don't think it's right to try to replace what the other members did. They will kick ass when this album is released and they do kick ass live, but they should keep old GNR for concert filler. It shouldn't be redone.

It could shut up all them idiots who keep saying there just a crap cover band, nice idea.

Covering songs is a great way to show you're not a cover band.

I saw GNR live in '02 and they played the hell out of the old songs, but the only way I want to hear them re-record any of the old songs is on Live Era 06-12.
