There was a promo single for Chinese Democracy available for purchase in Germany, so that single actually did chart. But not very good since it was a very limited release. It was strange anyway ... putting out a promo single for sale. I found that kinda fishy. But the whole release was completely out of line. Nothing was done properly. It was the most amateurish album release ever.

But it's true there still is no second single. Some people claim that Better was the second single, but think it was a failure since it didn't chart on any sales charts, only on download and airplay charts. But oh well ... no wonder it didn't chart on any sales charts when there was no physical release ... cos that's what makes sales charts ...

Once a second single is out, it will chart on sales charts worldwide. It's as easy as that ...

Whether it's planned to be released as a single or not, the cover artwork is the best so far. It's very stylish.

Has there ever been an edited GN'R single version before? It really makes no sense to edit this song though. It's not that long.

Anyway. I don't think this single will be released too soon since they seem to be putting out Better first. Why else would they work on a video for Better if the next single was gonna be The Blues?!?

U've been lied to and misled for such a long time that sorting through all that here is virtually impossible. A lot will come out over time but the truth has been out there for a long time as well but that doesn't give you what you want so this dance just goes on and on.

It really is what it is. No decisions have been made by either him, I or us that I'm aware of.

Robin leads one of the most different lives I know of starting with the trapeze in his backyard to the tv in his closet. Robin's work on the next is done so there's not lots for him to do here except the elusive promo and he'd rather be on stage.

Yay, just what I always hoped for. Robin has no currenty GN'R duties (no tour, no promotion, no recordings) so he's keeping himself occupied with a side project. That's all.

Chinese Democracy is now being advertised on Face book so who ever was in charge of advertising this album is doing things the right way with the TV ads aswell as getting an ad on a popular website right now. Nice job guys.

Which fucking face book? Anyway. I'm not gonna say "nice job" until they finally put a music video out on youtube ... and probably a high-res download on the band's website. But what does this have to do with rumoured release dates anyway? We already have many countries' release dates confirmed.

Rumour has it that the world famous John Doe is gonna release his debut album on 11/23. I don't think GN'R have any chance to stand up to him. Especially since some of Doe's songs are rumoured to be co-written by the one and only Joe Bloggs. :xmassrudolph:

All I know is that there is still no official release date/ information for Germany. Amazon has no price, no information on the tracklist/ formats ... and MTV Germany reported on December 1 as release date ...

I still don't think they're gonna release the album when the band is split into pieces touring with side projects. They're gonna wait till everyone is back. At some point in summer/ fall 2009 the earliest ...
