DSOTM - Pink Floyd
That's an all filler no killer album
-
I found these on youtube, I guess they are the remixes:
Billie Jean
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JkN5l7x6clA
P.Y.T.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2WNzsR0WJaA
The Girl Is Mine
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tqawOudwNCI
Beat It
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K_4rrSNdYCg
And that is a song that was not included on the Thriller album but will be on this version of Thriller:
For All Time (by far the best of them):
-
M J was a good music artist.... but kids should be kept 50 feet away at all times.
A Brief History of MJ:
-Star at 5 years old
-produced the biggest selling album in the world
-OWNED THE BEATLES
-MARRIED ELVIS'S DAUGHTER
Not bad bad for a freak, huh?
And became the probably best known musician ever.
And I think he had 24 number 1 hits.
-
wasn't that posted already a while ago?
-
Apparently he's gonna release a 25th anniversary edition of Thriller with artists such as Akon, Fergie and Kanye, so he really hasn't been doing a new record with these people as mentioned but just reworking an old one. Personally I think this might fuck this album's rep up a bit, I mean Kanye is the best rapper/producer around at the present time, but I think rapping on Thriller might clash with it, maybe seem a tad anachronistic. As for Fergie and Akon on this album....ummmm Michael, you're a fuckwit. He says he wants Thriller to keep lasting for generations to come, unfortunately I think for MJ, his 25th anniversary edition will just be little more than a promo to sell the actual album because no one wants to hear fucking Akon singing "Wanna Be Startin' Somethin'".
Yeah, but these are just the bonuis tracks. The originals are there as well.

I just want to remind you that Axl is a rapist aswell, if you believe that. Neither of the cases where proven.
That's a good video about Why MJ is innocent.
And even if you're not a fan of that beatbox thing, the song is awesome: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yjvoVpOrlbM
"ALL THE CHILDREN THAT SLEPT IN THE SAME ROOM WITH MICHAEL JACKSON SAID THAT NOTHING BAD HAPPENED"
So what? It's not prohibited by any law that you are not allowed to sleep in the same room as some children.
In my opinion the video proves his innocent and the guy who made it made some good points.

I really fucking hate Michael jackson. Especially since I saw THIS VIDEO which someone posted recently.
Thriller is a great album though.
Why do you hate him because of that video? It's awesome and his singing is really good.
-
We should do like two or three different songs for some variety or something like an easy song class, middle, and than hard so basically different skill levels.
I think we shouldn't use a song that needs high skills and I think we should use all the same song. If you think a song is too easy you can still add stuff.
-
So...is it Smoke on the Water? I'm up for anything that's that fucking easy
I think that would be a good idea.
-
I love that song. Probably his most overlooked and definitely one of his best. The beat is awesome and his singing is nice.
And this short performance especially. It's him beatboxing that track on Oprah's show.

And here's the video clip for Who is it:
-
You know which song would rule? Smoke On The Water. We have to cover that one.
but you would have to play the whole song and not just the intro and it would have to be done the way Ritche Blackmore does it on Machine Head. maybe not with tone or sound but NOTES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I hate it when people play Smoke on the open E String! It's on the dammed D and G strings! or you could start on the 5th fret (D) on the A string and ply the 5th fret on the open D.
What's the point of covering a song if you play it the same way like the original.
-
I'm so pissed
I wish this was Metallica, cus it's fucking better than St. Anger and some other Tallica albums.
We just have to hope Metallica can come up with something like that.
-
Say what you will about the bands, but at least it got kids interested in metal again. With Metallica and Megadeth dabbling in commercial radio rock, and Maiden and Priest with a shite singer. Metal was dead and buried at the time.
What are you talking about. Tim Ripper Owens who played with Priest back then is awesome (seen him with Iced Earth).
New Priest still didn't get accepted by the public.
Yeah, I didn't say that. But I just said that Ripper Owens is an awesome singer.
-
I love how everyone is saying that they knew it from the beginning.
I thought that's Metallica, but you know just the demos.
So do you think that is the new Eternal Decision album we heard? Since the name of the songs are different.
-
So it isn't Metallica then? Still kickass though.
Well not sure. But it looks like it's the German band "Eternal Decision"
And I agree, still a good album.
-
Okay, I just realised through Fetish it says "Eternal Decision" at the bottom of the Windows Media Player. Dean found out that this is a band that is focused on Metallica and Slayer.

The thing is, that none of the names of their song fit the ones in the supposedly released Metallica album.
That's the way they sound: http://www.lastfm.de/music/Eternal+Decision

What does that guy at the end of The Soul Right say?" I will not buy this record, it is scratched" or what? (is that Kirk Hammett talking?)
-
Anyone hit me alink?
Is it the full album, or just a couple songs?
10 songs
Tracklist is:
Trashed
I.N.U
Under Influences
Set Me Free
Devour
Dead Cell
Fetish
Throne Of Ivory
Back To Anger
The Soul Right
-
Almost through now. A few songs left. So far "Fetish" is my favourite.
EDIT. And I think the demos are real.

So far I've only heard half or Trashed, and although I'm not fond of Hetfeild's voice, the riffs are cool shit.
First I disliked his voice. But I think it's mainly in the first song. He sounds better^on the other songs. Though, you are right, he sounds a bit different.
It's cool that the drums sound normal again.
-
It's fucking awesome, I think it's the demos.
And we have the guitar solos back.
pretty good quality for demos though.
Indeed. But Hetfield is a bit low in the mix sometimes. I think it's demos.
So far the album reminds me a bit of Ride The Lightning in a newer version.

Did you just say St. Anger?
