That depends, only if they have uniform recordings and mixing. CD 1 was one big mess to listen to (technically, not musicwise), the better the datasource the better you can hear this.

Industrial is as dated today as Classic Rock was in the 90's. Axl should go post-hardcore, metalcore which is the most popular genre these days with the kids.

I think he should make whatever he wants, but I hope it'll be a GNR record. No follower of fashion kinda bullshit.

I just don't believe it will be in stores out of the blue. These stores have to buy an amount of copies, so they now WHEN they can order them. When we've reached that point, we know it's close. Maybe the stores will find a few copies on their doormat when they don't expect it yet, but I don't blieve in that.

Did anyone think of the fact that GNR needs to do something special to regain status to the mainstream people? Did anyone think about the fact that they need to come back with a BANG? Maybe, just maybe, Axl and Jay-Z are doing a single together. Same way Jay did with Linkin Park. This would be some big ass fucking news. So it is possible the date is correct and both albums will be released. And by collaborating on the first single, they will get all the media attention in the whole fucking world! Sales of both albums would explode, because the whole world will be talking about how the king of urban and the king of rock reclaimed their thrones together. All rock fans around the world buy GNR, all urban fans in the world buy Jay-Z. This would be something never done before, and that's what GNR needs. Hit iiiiiiiittttttt!!!

Might be true. It just sounds strange to me that a band as big as GNR books shows for quite a few people and then postpone it to work on their album. Makes me wonder about their capability to make a time schedule. OR.... ticket sales where very bad and they realised they really need CD out to make this tour work

I'm asking this, because I've read that when they played RIR before the Illusions came out, they've played a lot of previously unheard tracks back then. And since this also will be broadcasted with what I believe to be a good sound quality it will be a good commercial fore the new album.

Any thoughts on this?

I've heard the thrid show was better

So I read, a lot of people who went there said the singing was brilliant, so people should not be stressed out if the man has a less day!

I went to the show Sunday night where they played very few "New" songs. Although I thought the production of the show was very very untogether I know it was one of thier first shows and chances are they will sort it out. One guy almost got blasted by pyro the first night and the night I saw the guitar players were all over each other. Regardless I love this band and I am not a "hater".

My wife however had this interesting observation...She didn't understand why she was watching a "Cover band" play old G n R songs and in all due seriousness they still look like the friggin Village People. There's the one guy singing with about a million dollars in diamonds on, The Punk rock guy dressed in plaid, The keyboard player with dreadlocks down to his ass with his shirt off, One guitar player looks like a confederate soldier and now there is a "Bumblefoot" in the band..must I go on? I read in this forum where people are talking about the fact that this band "Finally got thier look together"? This band???? That's together? Ahhhhhhh OK.

The best stuff they played the other night was the new stuff hands down.
