But you can't redo old GNR songs or try to reproduce them. He is trying to make a different sounding record. How can you reproduce the angst of being a twenty something in LA with being what he is today. The attitude is totally different. I give him credit for trying something new. How hard would it be to be out of the industry for years and come up with a new album. Imagine if Pearl Jam took a ten year hiatus and came out with a new album. It would be tough.

Shit, this year is ten times better than the last three. At least we have a tour plus public appearences by Axl(VMAS). A new website. A European tour. The album might not be out when we thought it would be; but at least there is promise. I understand everyone's frustration, trust me they lowered ticket prices since I bought them, but if you are a true fan you must have to sort through all the shit and look forward to a concert or the new album. No matter when it happens. Just because they have Jerry's Kids promoting them doesn't mean we won't get a good payoff in the end.

I am sympathetic with her situation/handicap. But what do you expect? It is not like they have been going on at 9 every other concert and then went on late for hers. Axl gets fucked in more ways! I have been an Ozzy fan forever but I have never been able to see him live. At this point, I am apprehensive considering he is older and such. For those of you that have seen him, is he a good live act or not?

To agree with jaypayton, when Joe Perry left Aerosmith to form the Joe Perry project in the early 80's, Aerosmith's concert attendence went in the toilet. When he came back, they went back to being on top. Granted, Aerosmith released albums the whole time. I think GNR is much better than Aerosmith. And I am sure GNR now is much better than a drugged out Steven Tyler and Aerosmith in the early 80's; but I think there is a little similarity.

Money talks. All the people you mentioned has a financial interest in not making him mad and go into seclusion.

I bet you they would not include concerts with past members.
