I've been trying to download libertad's guitar pro files on the usual places (all from 911tabs), but I can't read any of them with GP5!

Is it only because I only have an older GP edition!?

What i'm asking is for seme GP files that I can read in GP5...it would be extremely apreciated!

Everytime I enter the forum I look at the last new published hoping to contain the words "GNR, CD, oficial and release", I really don't want to see in a GnR Forum VR news...one time I saw an Hookers N Blows related topic and it was moved from, HNB is also GnR related It contains Dizzy....

The news about VR should STOP, in VR foruns there's no news about GnR!

In ten years we got an tentaive release date...I would be jumping my ass off of joy if only GnR announced a defenitive release date...all I want is Axl to talk to us...and in the letter Axl said that if something went wrong he would let us know, it seems that March 6th is impossible and the silence remains....is that bad or good?

Why do you want a release date? What would you love the most? The date anoucement or CD itself!?

I personally think that a possible surprise release would be awsome and the best thing for this band..first of all it would be the perfect act of promotion! For instance here in Portugal the News on TV don't usually anounce album's coming out, though i'm pretty sure that the Guns N' Roses comeback with the extra of that comeback being a "surprise" will be mentioned on news. It's just a thought!

I don't really understand how that could be an insult, after all if you're a die hard, the only thing you want is to hear Gn'R music. And all people complaining and bithcing about the lack of promotion, and sayin tha Axl is an asshole because he never mentions CD on the shows would have their explanation --> all part of the surprise release plan, witch i think is great!

Now is for sure..the goddamn album is coming out..(i hope so lol)

What I mean is that, for example: the early Guns N' Roses were known for the extraordinary guitar riffs and solos of Slash. The diversity of lyrics of of Axl and Izzy - unusual and crazy lyrics like Used to love her, Anything Goes, Perfect Crime, Back Off Bitch, Double Talkin' Jive and really elaborated and beutifull lyrics like November Rain, Estranged, SCOM. And of course the old Gn'r sound was simply different from anything else back then!

I want to know what could be the ttype of sounf«d of this new era, i mean, could we expect songs like Get in the Ring, or Welcome to the Jungle...could we expect an impact like the one in 87 with Appetite?

I heard the blues and better in RIR Lisbon, and this songs sounded great to me..but I would be so fuckin excited to hear a song that nobody could expect like USed to love her , one in a million..etc etc!

Well I can't really said the diferences between those two guitars - I've never played in a Gibson LP!

Though I've played with a Epiphone LP, and recording the clean sound intros ( In this case was PC's intro), I must say that a fender american strat beat it like hell...in distortion mode the Epi stood for her, but in clean sound it could sound better,,,comparing to he fender!

I supose that a gibson has a better clean sound...

Don't Damn Me, would fit in greatly in this Gn'R line up!

Estranged would be played well with this band, thoug I can't denied that Locomotive would be somethin' great for them to play!

That would go simply against the reason of existence of this new band, Axl didn't wanted to create a new band in order to erase the old lineup, the continuation of Gn'R is what it is..the continuation of Gn'R, only with a diferent lineup...

This new band will certanly leave the old stuff basically the same, they only changed it in lives performances!

If they touch the old stuff material, it would be an extremely cocky an arrogant move by the band...they would get me surprised if they did that! (oh and of course, "the haters!" will fire at will against the band)

To end, stop calling GN'R a cover band, fisrt of all the name is still the same so the band can't really be covering theire own stuff, and they have new songs...it just wrong and it gives a bad image of who call thos band a cover band!

Think About it!

At least GN'R is startin' to appear in press!

It's a start...just think about the amount of people that didn't know as much as forum and Web users, I guess those articles should be interesting!

I want to know what was the song the moment, that made you said that this band was awsome, and made you search more about Guns N' Roses!

In my case, I heard to Civil War and Knockin' on Heaven's Door on my uncle's car, I felt in love. When I arrived home I started to download all GN'R stuff and buy CD's, etc!
