Are they meant to be like that? I want to do something to them, or put something on them. I'm so not used to the ultra simplicity of them. Sneakers are getting so out of control lately, I'm struck by the stark simplicity. I like it. But I think I would like them to be offered in a variety of colours. But that's kind of contradicting the point isn't it? Just don't wear them with a hospital uniform, otherwise they'll look like nurse shoes.

Yeah they are meant to be like that. You've never seen a pair of Stan Smith's before? The classic model has a green heel, but mine are navy blue - I've never been a fan of green... I used to love colorful sneakers and have had a lot of Nike models in different colors, but I wanted something simple now. I Iike the simple look, especially for the summer. You just have to wear them with the right clothes...

Can someone not named LiveFromNormal explain what's so great about this album?

It features great songs... The overall production and the many different instruments used, the melodies and especially the lyrics is what make this album superb. It is a fun album to listen to from start to end, and at the same time it is still obvious that a lot of work and dedication has been put into every single song.

I hate explaining why I like some music and I'm really not good at it. But I hope you get the idea. And the points I mentioned are not even the main reasons why I like it. I get carried away when I listen to it and that makes it good to me, and if you don't like it, that's fine. But it's all about getting the right introduction when it comes to understanding "new" music. So I think it would be ignorant to call it a bad album just because it doesn't appeal to you and where you are right now, because it obviously is not. (I know you didn't call it bad, but to many people music is bad if they don't understand it... And I'm tired of hearing that.)

Fortus is a great guitarist. He can play the songs and look cool at the same time. That's more than most of the technically skilled guitarists mentioned in this thread can handle.

Bucket is in his own league though. If DJ left as well and we would end up with a team of Fortus and Bucket, that would be insane. But my head hurts when I try to imagine DJ on stage playing a solo next to Bucket.
