  2. I want to hear maddy & better live...

I'll come later on the night with the setlist and a video.. I want to record November Rain..

    joe

Lucky you!Enjoy the concert, waiting for your return, don't forget to bring new material! :)

  3. Axl Rose, like a lot of aging rock stars, is driven by vanity and money. I mean, why is Mick Jagger still touring and torturing his body to look like he's still young?

Come on, he is only 44, not 68 like Mick!

So if you really want to change Axl Rose stop buying tickets to his shows. Stop paying $100 of your hard earned money to see his GnR tribute band.

Ok, if a show takes place in your city don't go but I definitely won't miss it!

  4. I remember in 2002, exactly 4 years ago when me and my wife saw the new version of GNR for the first time.

It was a great show but my wife said this after the show : "The show was great but this do not look like a rock n' roll band at all." She was right. They were good but did not look good.

It's all a question of look, and how you threat people.

I agree but the reviews back then weren't bad only due to the look of Axl and the others in the band.

    Axl's voice was screwed too.

  5. Does anyone know the REAL reason why he doesn't do any changing in the setlist or play more illusion songs? Maybe he doesn't like the illusions when he looks back? Or he doesn't want the band to learn any other songs? It's gets fucking boring to do ALMOST the same songs since 2001.

The other guy who asked about don't cry. Axl doesn't sing it anymore since 1993. Because of the death of Shannon Hoon. But i don't like that reason because Axl wrote it alone and Shannon just appeared on the album it's not like they 'wrote it together. Play it as a tribute or something.

But anyone else is getting bored of the same songs live? I want some fucking suprises like in 1991-1992.

Thanks dude. I 've read about Shannon's Hoon death but I 've hoped that Axl would sing it again sometime. :( Anyway, the instrumental version is better than nothing.

  7. europe and sud america.

istanbul gig was 17,000 without nearly no promotion and announced only 3 weeks before due to a cancellation in deutschland. and i must add that we DON'T give a fuck for the late shows, rock n' roll spirit still lives here unlike the states.

    Same in Greece too!

  8. It hasn't confirmed to be GN'R. The song title "Checkmate" hasn't even been comfirmed.

    BUT

I most def think it's guns and it sounds amazing. Hope it's on CD.

The sound is very clear, it seems to be a studio recorded track. Although it souds like Axl I am not persuated about it.

The 16-second clip of the song titled "Checkmate" was posted online in May 2006, but was never confirmed as being authentic.

Anyway, I also find it great and hope that the new CD will have songs like this.
