Great album anyways.
I think you should change your signature, it's disgusting.

Maybe I didn't pay much addention to the list or I am blind, but were exactly are Pink Floyd?
Oh, they aren't in the list?

I love ''Needles and Pins'' and ''Somebody put something in my drink''

Axl Rose, like a lot of aging rock stars, is driven by vanity and money. I mean, why is Mick Jagger still touring and torturing his body to look like he's still young?
Come on, he is only 44, not 68 like Mick!
So if you really want to change Axl Rose stop buying tickets to his shows. Stop paying $100 of your hard earned money to see his GnR tribute band.Ok, if a show takes place in your city don't go but I definitely won't miss it!
-
I remember in 2002, exactly 4 years ago when me and my wife saw the new version of GNR for the first time.
It was a great show but my wife said this after the show : "The show was great but this do not look like a rock n' roll band at all." She was right. They were good but did not look good.
It's all a question of look, and how you threat people.
I agree but the reviews back then weren't bad only due to the look of Axl and the others in the band.
Axl's voice was screwed too.
-
Does anyone know the REAL reason why he doesn't do any changing in the setlist or play more illusion songs? Maybe he doesn't like the illusions when he looks back? Or he doesn't want the band to learn any other songs? It's gets fucking boring to do ALMOST the same songs since 2001.
The other guy who asked about don't cry. Axl doesn't sing it anymore since 1993. Because of the death of Shannon Hoon. But i don't like that reason because Axl wrote it alone and Shannon just appeared on the album it's not like they 'wrote it together. Play it as a tribute or something.
But anyone else is getting bored of the same songs live? I want some fucking suprises like in 1991-1992.
Thanks dude. I 've read about Shannon's Hoon death but I 've hoped that Axl would sing it again sometime. Anyway, the instrumental version is better than nothing.

Don't Know and don't care. Find a better subject for discussion
-
The singer is dressed like Axl, moves like Axl and also has the tatoos...Great impersonation!
And the band is not bad rock2
-
American's are intelligent enough to operate the complex scientific instruments required to properly bootleg a show.
Check out the Euro Tour DVD (The 7gb one), thats the best stuff you are ever going to get from a crowd recording.
Euro Tour DVD??? What have I missed!? More info please.

Unfortunately when we strongly requested for civil war last July there was no positive reply , maybe we'll get lucky next time!
Did Axl sing Don't cry at any of their recent concerts?
-
I like the effects in Better, they make a difference and this is good but only for once in a while. I agree that synth doesn't suit with the pure GNR's sound.
-
europe and sud america.
istanbul gig was 17,000 without nearly no promotion and announced only 3 weeks before due to a cancellation in deutschland. and i must add that we DON'T give a fuck for the late shows, rock n' roll spirit still lives here unlike the states.
Same in Greece too!

It hasn't confirmed to be GN'R. The song title "Checkmate" hasn't even been comfirmed.
BUT
I most def think it's guns and it sounds amazing. Hope it's on CD.
The sound is very clear, it seems to be a studio recorded track. Although it souds like Axl I am not persuated about it.
The 16-second clip of the song titled "Checkmate" was posted online in May 2006, but was never confirmed as being authentic.
Anyway, I also find it great and hope that the new CD will have songs like this.
-
hes grown his goaatee back! no!
I liked the goatee, didn't you?
i did.
wasnt the forum going nuts when he shaved it?
Who says the goatee is new - I think this photo is from the European Tour, no?
Guess we'll find out tonight
I don't Know where the fotos are from but it seems like the mystery about Axl's girlfriend has been solved
http://www.mygnrforum.com/index.php?showtopic=82368
and the goatee is back...unfortunately .

If Axl wouldn't like touring with Izzy, Izzy wouldn't be on stage.
You are so right....
Axl always does only what he wants to do!
