    It's almost as if they are TRYING SO HARD to convince people that the band is popular and legitimate.

    Of course there gunna try hard to convince people that its a popular band :huh:

    I am convinced at this point that nobody is backing this thing, and Axl probably has burned so many bridges that people just refuse to work with him. We've all heard him berate Merk and the stage crew countless times. Would any of us really want to work with Axl on helping him promote the album? These damn press releases are proof that GNR is really failing when it comes to communicating the right message to the media/fans.

    Your kidding? No-ones backing it yet they've toured through all of Europe for months and are now touring the US. There doing this why if there not backing the album? Jesus, everyone has their faults, I'm sure people can forgive Axl for his little outbursts.

    So Axl, how well are the other tickets selling? Back in 91, every single venue would have sold out the same day tickets went on sale. NYC has 12 million people and MSG has 20,000 seats, not a very big accomplishment. And in 2002, MSG sold out in 10 minutes, now it took two weeks.

    Of course they sold out in 91, they were the biggest band right then, its been 13+ years with nothing...but MSG is sold out now. Even without anything, might take a bit longer, but its still sold out.

    Not a big accomplishment? :lol: Okay, if you wanna do that shit. There are over 6,000,000,000 people in the world and GNR has sold altogether about 80,000,000 records, and if you look at it like that, not much of an accomplishment eh? Still leaves 5,920,000,000.

    Bands to release "Best Of" Albums on same Day

    Supergroups, Oasis and U2 are set for a good old-fashioned battle of the bands. Both groups are due to be

    releasing greatest hits offerings on the same day next weekend.

    Oasis will be releasing their eagerly awaited 'Stop the Clocks' album whilst U2 will be simultaneously

    releasing their album, 'U218 Singles'. Oasis's Noel Gallagher has gone on record with an Irish magazine,

    HOTPRESS, that the Mancunian musos will win the battle.

    However, it is possible that both bands will miss out with several other big name artists rumoured to be

    releasing new albums on the very same day including Guns n' Roses and Jay-Z although with Oasis

    currently at number 36 in www.amazon.co.uk's pre-release chart U2 are already playing catch up.

    Six months of promotion :shocked: I think thats waay to much, people will end up getting so fed up of it after a while. But if its gunna be out this year..they gotta hurry, a month at least is needed, and times running out.

    Wasn't it just posponed till further notice? Havn't heard anything since...maybe Slash is being admirable and letting Axl finish the tour/album etc before starting it up again. Who knows :o

    Richard Fortus and Robin Finck are the 2 main guitar players in the new Guns N' Roses. Buckethead and/or Bumblefoot were/are just "additional" players.

    80% of the guitar playing is done by the 2 RF. This is a strong duet. Fortus and Finck are the most important part in the newGNR guitar playing. and I guess it will be the same on the record.

    How do you know that Buckethead was additional player and 80% of the guitar playing is done by the 2 RF? Sorry but to be honest i think that Fortus w'ont be on CD
