Classic rock isnt going or coming, its just hard to write like that. If it was easy, there would be thousands of pounding tunes on the radio today. I believe GnR would sell out US dates but they need to do it the old fashioned way, write a handful of tunes that hit like tunes off of Appetite. All it takes is one video that rocks and up-up and away, all over again, with any line-up...especially with Axl up front.

there already a song on the album that can do it. its called better. axl should make it in to a video

Does anyone still believe AXL N ROSES will have a sold out North American tour and sell millions of copies of Chinese Democracy in the States (the only market that matters, Sorry Europe)??

Yes, I do. These shows had virtually no promotion unless you are a member of these boards which not every GNR fan is. San Fran shows seem to be fairly sold out as well as good tix for Inland Invasion. Obviously not everyone can afford the steep price of Vegas. Regular arena shows will be less than half the price and they will sell and I am thinking we will have an announcement for CD very shortly. Once that happens, MTV will get involved if they aren't already and then it takes off from there.

Usually bands tour to promote their album. So, do you think the europian tour and possible the US tour is for video footage for videos for the new songs?

Lets face it GNR always toured before they brought an album out. And there music videos always had live footage. Or most did anyway. I don't think they would use 2002 footage and all there style has changed and with Buckethead not being in the band anymore.

So perhaps the tour was to show the public that GNR are around, to get footage for videos and to build hype?

So it does make sense how we never got a single released on the europian tour or before it. Thoughts?

you make a good point i think axl will start reaviling new information if the U.S tour goes weel as the european tour

I saw Green Day at the Warfield last year and they used pyro. The stage area is actually pretty big for a theater, it goes back pretty deep

i know hard to belive its probally its 150 bucks and schools starting and most people dont want to travel across the country and most parents wont let them miss school for guns n roses well mom is letting me miss school so i can see them

their eurpean tour went pretty good most shows were sold out but i think they will have a harder time of selling tickets in the u.S

how do we prove ourselves true fans? I rarely talk on the forum cause I know I'm a young fan, and its not my place to question Axl's or Slash's choices, I love their music, I love both New Gnr and Velvet Revolver, I own every GNR album, as well as Contraband by VR, I too am patiently awaiting Chinese Democracy, and I would consider selling left eyeball to see Axl and New Gnr live. Am I a true fan?

you can't judge people by whether or not you've talked to them, judge them by whether or not they're willingly part of the forum, whether or not they genuinely wanna see GNR perform, or whether or not they are Kaneda, cause if they are not Kaneda, they may be a true fan without you knoing it

who cares if it hasnt sold out yet if doesnt get sold out by the time of the event we all just get better chances of seeing them up close cant wait till the show

lets look at the presale in sf (which are half the price) instead, supposedly the ticket sales are very strong,(i got my tickets on friday and the best available seats were in the balcony) seems as though those two will sell out in a day, so then if that happens what would we speculate for the vegas shows.

Because people in the U.S. are over GnR now. Some people still cared in 2002, but Axl destroyed all that when the tour went down the drain.

I have my ticket already and I thought everyone was pumped up that GNR is starting the US tour. So why isnt the show sold out? It only holds about 1500 people, where are the hardcore fans?

i agree i was expecting it to sell out in minutes like the new yorks shows and theres still tickets beging sold at ticketmaster

all of us guns n roses fans should stick together. im lucky enough to go see guns n roses in las vegas during the 16 and 17. i think we should share the presale password with other fans who want to go. but i dont want the password to be posted we should email the presale password to each other so scraplers wont see them on the page cuz anyone can just look at the page and the see password. we all learned from wat happen during the presale for the new york shows it sold out in minutes. and not many fans got the tickets. only trure guns n roses fans should get the presale password. feel free to express your self and if your against this thats fine but i think we should be nice to the deadicated fans who have never seen guns n roses before. it would mean the world to them just as it did to me when i got my tickets for guns n roses for the las vegas shows yesterday and a really nice person on a fourm gave me the presale password for las vegas show its going to be my first guns n roses concert ever. comment if u agree with this or disagree
