i admit ive only 2 of their albums. internationalist and odyssey number five but i think odyssey is pretty good.

get neon ballroom. probably their best album apart from frogstomp which is a bit heavier but if you don't mind that than it's pretty good too.

here's what i have:

1 pc with wireless capability. connected to that via ethernet cable is a wireless router.

1 laptop with wireless capability.

now how do i set it up so i get the pc and the laptop communicating ie. transfer files and shit?

i've tried the wireless network setup wizard thingy but that failed.

but when i set the router up, a wireless network appeared. and both the pc and the laptop are able to connect to that. but as far as accessing files on the other computer, no luck.

so i'm kinda stuck.

btw, both pc and laptop os is windows xp pro service pack 2. and the wireless thingy is 802.11g

so for the second time only in 5 or so years, i watch the way of the gun.

it was weird. this movie was a sort of watershed movie for me. i've watched better, greater movies before but when i saw this for the first time ever it was a mindfuck. i think it was when i started seeing film as art rather than just an excuse to kill time. i'm probably mistaken. it's not that great of a movie (on second viewing) but for some reason the way of the gun sticks in my head like no other.

everything about it, it's impefection included just gets me.

there's this one scene, where the two kidnappers and their hostage are sitting in this room playing hearts and what's said in explaining the game to the hostage is just...gold. i just love how it evolves into a metaphor of the situation.
