Wow. There must be a huge differance of quality when you're on the floor as oppose to being in the stands. Cause my review is the only negitive one in this thread.
well I have already seen them on this tour and will be there 13th +15th and the reason nnone has commented on your review is cause you are so full of shit. If you dont want to like something, you can convince yourself that it isnt good, and it may ruin it for you. I think that is what happened. Noone is gonna buy that review, and by the way, Slash is no longer in the band, get over it or you will never enjoy the new band. I hope you do, cause you are missing out.
Haha, do you think I would spend $90 on something I'm planning to not like?
I'm not the only one who wasn't into the show either, the whole back of the first level was the same. Just cause I think Robin was crap doesn't mean anything besides I think he played really fucking shitty. I'm not anti-nugnr like you think. I'm a Slash fan, yes, but Axl is up there in my books aswell.
It was just a bad show from my prespective. But hey, maybe thats just the vibe you get when people are SLEEPING at a rock show.

Wow. There must be a huge differance of quality when you're on the floor as oppose to being in the stands. Cause to me, that was a VERY Mediocore show.
I dunno, maybe it's the butchering of all the musical parts, the fact that I was dead tired, Robins horrible attempt at music during any of his solo's, He'd just run around and play what seemed like completly random, horribly out of key, scattered notes. It also could've been dizzy's stupid ass, long ass, snoozefest of a solo but ya. These things all contributed and really ruined this concert for me.
Also, why was Axl so like... Boring?
He didn't connect with the audience at all. He just played each song after one another with hardly any talking to the audience, as opposed to Baz who kept reminding us were in Calgary after almost every song. It just felt soo unintimate.
Overall I was really dissapointed with the show and I don't think I was the only one, what started off as packed ass, sold-out 'dome, at the end was more the half empty. Sure it was late and people had to wake up the next morning but if the show was decent they would've stayed. This is even more obvious by the fact that the highest amount of people leaving was during the (many) low points of the show.
Good Parts:
- Rons Solo (Almost all of Don't Cry)
- Bubbles
- My Michelle, Welcome To The Jungle, Paradise City
- Guy rushing to get on the floor as a joke only to be CHOKE SLAMMED into the ground and beat on by 5 or 6 huge security guys.
Low Points:
- Every Solo Robin Played (and no, I'm not just hating on him, it truely was horrible)
- Dizzy Solo
- Knocking On Heavens Door
- People falling asleep.
- The Dome being half empty by Paradise City (I dunno how you could get 93% full. Not a chance. Everything from the first 2 sections on the sides of the stage had a TON of empty seats)

I know Calgary is not that big of a market but it's not small either (1 million+ population) and the show tommorow night is a sold out gig at a 20,000+ capacity arena. Thats gotta be one of the biggest crowds that Axl + friends has played to on this tour (Maybe not the biggest but definetly up there) and it wouldn't be crazy to think that something out of the ordinary might come up.
Maybe an extra song? a new song? an extended rant? some clues into the whole Chi-dem fiasco?
what do you think?
I dont know dude, but I love the sig B)
Whooooa oh oh Sweet Child O' Mine...
What better thing to put into a Slash sig then Slash's greatest achivement, the greatest riff of all-time.
What better thing? Well for starters you could put the correct tablature for the riff in your sig.
Uhh...?
It's correct.
I didn't include the E and A strings cause there's no point.

:
Maybe they'll show up late as usual and play the same set as usual?
:xmasssanta: You are correct sir! If MSG gets the same ol' same ol',then so will Calgary. Perhaps Calgary Alberta,Canada Wrestling Legend, Bret "the hitman" Hart will appear and join Gn'R for a version of his WWE theme song. Other than that , ya'll aren't getting anything different.
The Hart family still lives here?
Woah... I didn't even know that.

What a loser.
The guy probably has Axl's cock in his mouth right now.
-
where in calgary are you from?
Somerset/Shawnessy Area.
-
Slash for all 3.
Shredding and Blues Rock don't go together very well.
And oklahoma isn't even a good show for Slash.
-
Ya really fucking professional Axl.
-
I watch Leaf games religiously on CBC and I didn't see any commercial featuring Guns, unless I was getting a drink. Oh well.
There on TSN alot.

I've seen it, made a topic about it.
It's "Tickets are on Sale Now" not Album.
live clips? and for what show.
It was clips from concerts and live tracks of WTTJ, SCOM and PC with some narrator saying shit like "They're back", "Coming to a city near you" and "Tickets on Sale Now" with the Canadian dates listed on the side.
-
And wouldn't this rumour indicate that the album would be out tomorrow morning in the UK? And like three days ago in Ireland?
Maybe they'll do a staggerd release.
Tuesday in the States, NEXT monday in the UK and so on.

HAHA. An Axl Rose lover calling Slash and co. washed up... thats funny!
Tell me, Slash and Co. have released a multi platinum album, Since the original GN'R break up when was the last time Axl did? Slash and Co. have toured the world many times after GN'R, what about Axl? Tell me, how many Grammy's has Axl EVER won?
Now, who's the wash up?
-
That chorus is the worse attempt at music I have ever heard.
-
Haha I knew it.
Axl is a fucking joke.
No way an album with only 13 "Better" calibare songs should take this long to promote. I'm gonna be so happy when this thing flops and he calls it quits on this new solo attempt and gets back with the old guys.
somebody get this dumb girl a tissue.
Hah what makes me a dumb ass girl who needs a tissue?
I'm actually laughing right now. This is very amusing to me. How someone could be as stupid as Axl is pretty damn funny to me.

The NASCAR race is the most-watched event of the weekend by far, as far as TV ratings, so if they were to debut it that would be a good place to do it.
So there goes any chance of that happening.

You guys realize this all bullshit, right? I can't believe this has gone 34 pages.
There is no band called Far Downs, and HMV is getting no shipment from said band.
Seriously, are you people that gullible?
Albums can't just magically pop up at record stores and be shoved out onto the shelf that day. Stores need time to know what they are getting so they can clear space on the floor for it and know where it is going. They know what they're getting, when they're getting it, and where it's going when it gets there, so you can't have a bunch of albums shipped as a fake name and then be like.."HMM OH THIS IS GUNS N ROSES, WELL GOSH GOLLY ILL BE DARNED, LETS JUST GO DUMP ALL THESE CD'S IN THE 'G' SECTION AND MAKE ROOM FOR IT".
You know the reason people always come to these forums and post BS rumors about CD? Because you all believe it every time.
It takes half an hour to set up a seperate little promotional rack and stock it full of Chinese Democracy. Plus you know, you can just move the cd's in the G section over and make room for it, or put a small chunk of copies in the G section, a larger chunk in new releases and an even bigger chunk on that promotional rack.
OMG I just solved all the problems presented in your post.
But ya, I don't believe this is it either. Someone in the Pressing process or the printing of the cover art would of leaked something.

I hope that tracklist is fake.
If CITR made it over IRS I won't buy it. Seriously.
