They can't just post any date without somewhat of an official source, otherwise they can be sued for false advertising....

This has happened a billion times before and nobody got sued over it.

A couplev years ago the band "threatened" to release it every couple of weeks or so. After a while Rock Hard magazine wasn´t buying into it no more so they kept posting in their "upcoming releases" section something like G`n´R (...). 2006 was a bit different again and now they just don´t mention it no more.

Yeah the letter said AS SOON AS POSSIBLE in regards of a new release date.

So maybe try reading what your quoting before trying to pull it apart.

They could have said fuck all until that release date is finalised, but they actually updated us with something, and little fuckwits like you still have a go. I'm grateful for the update, and hope they tell us stuff regularly. I can see why they don't bother, because you probably wouldn't have posted this if they hadn't said anything.

Just go away until they release it if you wanna wet your knickers every time something happens you don't like!!

You´re beeing gratefil for absolutely nothing. They finally finished recording. So what???? This is prolly just opening the door for more "unforeseen" reasons to delay the album. Then there´ll be another pointless update. And more pathetic gratefullness. Sorry, bra but the Del James update MEANS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING.

Can you honestly say - without laughing out loud - that Buckethead - the guy with the yellow raincoat, Jason mask and bucket on his head that would hand out plastic toys at a rock show - "fits" in more than Ron?

Bucket is a great guitarist - no doubt about it. But he never "fit" with GNR at all. He had no chemistry with the other band members at all onstage - and gave off a "circus" or "cartoon-like" vibe when he was onstage.

...but bucket was amazing. He´s not your (...) that just want PROBS for a so called "good job".

This same forward progress is evident on the band's forthcoming album, Chinese Democracy. Some people out there have downloaded unmixed versions of songs like "IRS," "There Was A Time," "Chinese Democracy," "Madagascar," and "Better" and while it's unfair to judge an unfinished product, it's not that big of a stretch to say that Axl's vision is once again leading him in the right direction
