Keith Roth on the Boneyard has mentioned twice now that Axl did an interview today "in the AP" and to look online for it soon as someone would probably post it. He mentioned it was amazing with never reported prior comments. That's all I can tell you.

On another note, the Sirius ads all state 11 pacific it starts (which makes sense for our boy), but I have heard 9 pacific mentioned on Octane and the Boneyard this week. Anyone know for sure? Thanks in advance!

You and me both. I never really gave a shit. It was all Axl, all the time. Seeing them live finally on Saturday changed everything. What a band!! That show so far exceeded my expectations that I can't stop thinking about it!

I'm a casual fan. I've got the first EP and Operation: Mindcrime and both are awesome, just haven't really explored them more for some reason. They're an awful live band though, I had the displeasure of seeing them 3 times on the '07 tour opening for Alice Cooper and Heaven And Hell. Tate's voice is shot now, but he was an amazing singer in the 80's.

Really? I saw them in '92 or so perform Mindcrime and it was an incredible show. Times change, I guess. Maybe the broken voice.
