Regardless what a lot are thinking, the band member's personal images do mean a lot. Especially, and obviously Axl's.
It's really different seeing Axl with this kind of hair.
It also proves to all those people who said he was going bald that they were WRONG!!!
Well lets not kid ourselves here. Axl is almost 48. To say that he isn't balding at all or doesn't have a receding hairline would be foolish.

Some of you wonder why Axl will never show face again on this forum and I think some of the comments in here is the reason why. Axl could shit a golden turd and someone would bitch its not diamonds. Who gives a shit what he wears, how he looks, all the matters is the fucking music. This band from the way it sounds put on one hell of a fucking show. Give the guys some credit instead of being fashion police.

Sure, we would love to hear Axl share his thoughts on the album, do some shows, etc. But my God, give the guy a break. Nobody knows what he's going through right now other than him. Chill. Throw on some headphones and listen to some music. Read a book. Drink a Jack and Coke. Relax.
Totally agree with you! I would still be a fan whether Chinese Democracy was released or not (glad it was though as it is a great album). To all those tossers who bag Axl, the new GNR members and Fernando, get a life! Axl and Co owe us nothing.

anyone in australia watch the channel 9 news this morning? they had a section for chinese democracy. The news reader claimed it would be out next month and they showed footage of the use your illusion dvds. Dumb bastards dont even know its just a rumor, but at least they're hyping it up hehe
Yes I saw it. But how dumb showing clips of the old gunners. People will think that it is an album made by all the old guys. Any way I can't wait for it to come out, roll on November. By the way, who says the November release date is only a rumour.....are you in the know?

Just saw them a fortnight ago. They played up here in Darwin with Wolfmother. Was a fuckin awesome night. Hilltop Hoods also played as well as several other Aussie bands. Cost only $50.00 a ticket and all ages could attend.

I agree with HV, and understand what you're saying Mike.
Maybe it'd be beneficial to Baz, and his former band mates to have a full Skid Row reunion, and maybe double bill with another 80's act like Ratt or Poison. It could revive all of their careers, even for solo work.
You know... now that I think of it, yes, I do agree with you & HV. Great points. Lower ticket prices would probably have drawn a lot more heads. A full Skid Row reunion would also work, I think. If they were to reunite, I think they'd have the confidence of the suits that it would do well and thus the name would become popular again. Definetly lower ticket prices. Maybe people would be attracted to it because it'd be a cheap night of fun and "that 80s metal." The name which afforded the patron with a cheap, fun night would then stick. "Oh yeah, I saw that guy a few months back. He was pretty good live."- could translate into "Yeah, I'll pick up the new cd."
What he should have also done is played in places where a younger audience could have seen him. Instead of 18+ venues he should have played in places that say 15+ could go to.

Wanted to take my son for this but for the Brisbane concert it has 18+. This sux...he is 15 and at that age should be able to attend with adult supervision. Pissed off!!

I gotta admitt I don't know why some people bother going to concerts when all they do is stand/sit there not moving a fucken finger. We had some girls behind us like that, they complained about us standiing and I told them to get fucked, I was not sitting down, I paid good money to come and see GNR and I will fucken dance if I want to! They did not say a word after that. Their lame arse boyfriends did not even say a word.
I don't agree with you saying Axl's voice isn't great anymore. It was fucken awesome at the Brisbane concert. No complaints at all.

I am so jealous. Went to the Brisbane concert on Wednesday. Loved it. Wish I was in Sydney for the last two Australian concerts. Lucky bastards those who are going.
