We're flying out from Darwin to Brisbane tonight to see Gunners on Wednesday night. Fuck we're excited. Can't bloody wait.

guns n roses also visited bon scotts grave in fremantle and they all kissed the tombstone, sebastian bach also dedicated his performance to the late bon scott which was very moving.

That's awesome that they visited Bon Scott's grave. They must have a lot of respect for him. Bon Scott is a legend.

Hey I am flying from Darwin to the Brisbane show. Got a girlfriend who flew to Melbourne last night and she's heading to the Melbourne Show.

I am going to the first show but missed getting tickets to the second show. I have been checking ebay for the last few weeks and currently there is 27 ads for tickets for the first show but none for the second show. Anyone know any other options for tickets to the second show apart from just showing up on the night and hoping to get some off a scalper?

plenty of tickets still on ticketek when I just checked. It is weird I checked the other day for more tickets on the 20th but it said allocation exhausted, yet when I just checked you can still get gold seating or gold GA for both concerts (19th and 20th)

Now i'm glad i've got front row seats for the melbourne shows

I hope so too. I don't want to be at a concert where they play a heap of songs I dont know. I want to be able to sing along and get right into it.

I figured they would play some new songs unreal how he keeps doing this to us. He is pitiful doesnt he want toexpand or is it just about the cash. WOW they suck to true fans they are stale but alot of people havent seen it I guess

hold on a fucking second...he is doing this to "us" as in you being included in who he is doing "this" to. If you haven't noticed, they are playing in Mexico tonight which is a place they have NOT hit yet. Therefore, he is gunna give the fans out there the same songs he gave to the fans in the other countries that the band has played. It worked out here, so why not use the same songs out there. Even after an entire tour in '06, I still haven't come close to figuring out how fans who sit on their fucking computer and get text messages from the people who are actually at the show(and havign a blast) can fucking complain about the setlist. Axl and the guys aren't playing shows just so you can build a bigger collection of bootlegs and hear an entire album before it's released. They play shows to the fans who want to see live rock n' fucking roll. You mention the true fans(the internet fans again I guess). Do you really expect them to play different sogns for a group of under a thousand people..songs that the 12,000 or so in the arena tonight would LOVE to hear. Yahhh, I don't think so man. I don't know where the fuck you live or how many shows you've gone to but I know that on the last tour, I saw them 4 times(in which 3 shows were in a span of 4 nights) and got the close to the same setlist all 4 times, but fuck did I enjoy myself and have a great time each of the 4 times. By the way, TRUE fans don't say that their favorite band "sucks" because of the decision of songs they play.

Here in Darwin (NT) yesterday we had Bass in the Grass....our alternate of The Big Day Out. Had some great Australian bands come and play such as Eskimo Joe and Jet and some medioca musicans such as Shannon Knoll and the Young Diva's. But the highlight of my day was Little Birdy. They rock! The chick lead singer has a fucken great voice. Jet was great too!

This tour is slowly but surely making me sick to be honest.....

The UK and Europe last year, Australia, NZ and God knows where else this year...... but still no word on the album....

It's becoming nothing short of a cash-grab by a bunch of musicians who have done nothing off their own back yet.....

I don't want to moan coz I'm a huge fan, but it's becoming pathetic. The band were playing this setlist in 6 YEARS ago.......

Personally I could not give a shit if they play all old stuff or a mixture of old and new stuff at the concert I go to in Brisbane, I just want to see them live. If your such a huge fan stop moaning and groaning be grateful they are touring...and if the album ever comes out good, if not guess what? your life will go on. And so what if it is a money grabbing tour, in what way does this affect your life?????? or anyone else's? It doesn't, You either fork out the money to see them or you don't. Axl and the boys can do what they want...do you really think they give a shit about whinging, moaning so called fans like you? If Axl and the boys make shit loads of cash from touring good on them.

If SA was told of their cancellation and the supposed postponement of the Australia, New Zealand and Mexican concerts, would not the Australian Promoter be aware of the situation? Would they not have been told the same time? So why no updates on even the promoters web site? Surely he would have found out the same times of the SA. Ticktek have also not changed anything on their site. I wish someone with a bit of power would put us all out of our misery and give us an answer one way or another.

My husband, my son and I have just forked out $1710.00 ($1200 on airfares and $510.00 for the tickets) to finally get to see GNR live. We are travelling over 3000kms from Darwin to Brisbane........and it will be worth every one of those dollars I am sure.

Ok so I heard about this band coming to Sydney in June. But um...I'm overly reluctant to go fork out money to see them. I mean...I like Guns N' Roses songs very much...but I don't wanna hear them being played by a bunch of people who didn't even write them. If I wanna go see Gn'R songs played live, I only wanna hear them being played the way they are meant to, by the people that wrote them and layed them down on the albums. I Need some advice from people...if I don't like hearing these guys perform the Gn'R songs because they are not their songs, practically they are completely instrumentally covering them!! And that's a rip off to pay for a show mostly played like that.....am I right to say it's not worth me paying to go see them just to see Axl?

Well said Chris Axl. Son of A Gun....what Axl had no helping in writing those songs?????Where the fuck have you been? Hey lots of us miss the Duff/Slash/Izzy etc but there are many musicians who can play just as well.....no one and no one can sing the Gunners songs better than Axl. Just for the experience of listening to him I would have paid even more then the $170.00 I just forked out.

Mate you probably won't get any seating next to stage (I am gathering you want section 9 or 17?). I got on at 9 this morning for Brisbane Concert and got seats next to stage. Now they only have single seating near stage in Brisbane, I only know this as I went to get a friend two seats next to each other and couldn't and that was only 45mins later.

Got our tickets as well, got Gold Seating nearest stage. Can not wait. Got it Visa pre sale.

I just went back on to the site that is selling the pre ticket sales in Brisbane and already the seats are limited in the Gold Premium Seating area. Could not get two seats together for a friend....and they only went on sale 45mins ago. So they must be selling ok.

Sorry did not mention that the prices are pre sale prices so 'Visa' has added $20 onto those prices. I am asuming when they go on sale to the general public they will be around $150.00 for Gold Reserved Seating and Gold GA, and around $100.00 for other areas. I maybe mad but I paid the money and got some great seats. I am just putting it down to a once in a life time experience. Its funny some of us would not think twice about going and spending that much money on a couple of nights out on the booze which technically all we do is piss down the toilet, so to me it will be money well spent an awesome night of entertainment.

To those living in Brisbane and have been to the BEC where would be the best areas to view the concert, that is seating or GA. Is the GA standing only? If in GA is it hard to make your way to the front once your in there? or better view from seating to the side? Coming from Darwin and have never been to BEC.
