what's the difference between Boss DS1 Distortion and the Boss SD1 Super Overdrive? The sound Demo sounded sorta same.

I think we need to discourage 15 year olds from forming bands cause most of them take the easy way out eventually becoming the bands like today's Simple Plan types...Just my theory!

ARe all the Epi LP's the same size? I don't mean the fret board but the body of the guitar? Cause I just feel that some have a smaller body and some have a larger body. I'm asking cause I'm Asian and I'm not big in size and so I need a guitar that doesn't look as big as myself. I have an Ibanez gio with S S H configuration and the body seems to be abit big compared to my friends les paul.

I made my mind to get the epiphone les paul studio but I'm not so sure about the colors. What's the difference between Black and Ebony? Also do you have any large pictures of the Heritage Cherry Sunburst and the Vintage Sunburst? and lastly why are guitars cheaper online?

THNXZ I USED TO OWN A GUITAR CUSTOM SHOP SO ANYTHING JUST ASK MAN

man I turned 20 this year and I've been playing guitar since 5th grade but never an electric. I'm from a remote place in India and so there wasn't much music and all I listend to was guns n roses which were all pirated copies too. I'm in the states now and I bought an Ibanez players pack cause it came with everything ready to play but I think my skills require a higher end guitar yet I can't go out of the $400 US range. damn I wish I could work here but I'm not allowed to so I can't afford a gibson though I really want a gibson les paul! I have 400 bucks so I think I'll go buy ibanez or esp guitar. Any recommendations?

I think white people recieve just too much encouragement and self confidence. Black people are now learning to take their time too...ummm maybe just too fast.

In the music world, a lot of artist diss each other especially Rap, not knowing that they are the same bunch of loosers.

I was just watching MTV and Simple plan's song "don;t wanna think about you" came on and man, that just sucks! First of all it sounds like their addicted song and I saw their guitarist playings like some three note riff with water splashing over his fret board. Man I just thought of how in Estranged, the sea waves fall over the nicely played solo and then I see this crappy boy band jumping with guitars in their little puddle of water!

Creed's music isn't bad at all...I like the guitarist's little intro's and ya their guitar works are atleast better or more skillfull then today's music people like good charlotte, simple plan, disturbed, etc.

and like someone^said, I can't really mention a band that I like besides the new n'old GN'R and VR.

can anyone have actually play the main solo for Sweet Child O' Mine? I can play the intro and the little solo's inbetween verses and chorus but I really need the main solo. I got some tabs off the net but somehow they don't make sense to me. If anyone know how or knows the proper tabs please send it to me or give me the URL

Yes I agree that music scene these days suck so badly. If you look at most music these days its like all sex, gangs and wannbe's. I hate bands like Smile Empty Soul who sings "I do it for the drugs" and Good Charlotte, Simple Plan, The All American Rejects, Hillary Duff. You can really see all those boys in their videos playing expensive guitars and jumping around trying to look like rock but all they're playing are power chords. You know basically two or three strings per chord and some distortion. Any middle school kids can play those type of song!

A lot of college students especially US citizens also listen to stuff like Dave Mathew's band, Moe etc etc but they just pretent to be good too. I have a lot of

American friends who say that 80's music and the hair bands was the worst era of music but if you look at it properly its the 80's music that have lasted for years and still kick ass. I play the electric guitar and I know who is good and who is bad.

I know how good I am and where my AMerican friends measure at. I can play any today's popular music by listening just once like Good charlotte, Green Day and shit! (which I avoid)My american friends that play guitar own like 2-4 guitars like les paul which costs about $2000 etc and they suck at guitar. ITs just the distortion and the power chord that makes them sound good and makes chicks jump for them but honestly even those clueless chicks can play powerchords with dist and sound cool their first try can't they? yet they think they are damn good!(by the way no pun intended)
