Hoping for Finland, they like to skip us every other tour

Around when Lies came out, my sister had Patience on vinyl. I myself became a fan around 1992

Axl will always be Axl, he doesn't put on a persona or an act and he doesn't give a fuck if you like it or not. He will say and do whatever he wants to, not what people want him to. Sure it can be infuriating for us, wanting new music and whatever, but I strive to give less fucks and be pushed around by people less, too. And he's funny and sweet, too!

It's listenable on youtube now in Finland. Had my husband listen to it (non-gnr fan) and he said it's better than Absurd 😅 But he also said he only dislikes the yelling of absurd several times, but the song otherwise is alright. Hard School got 👍🏻👍🏻 from him. 

I love it! Can't wait to hear what it's like live! 🤩 Hope we have people at the show, cameras at the ready!

3 hours is nothing! I have to travel by 2 planes and a train to see them next summer 😂 Shortest for me has been a 6 hour dirve. DO IT! 

I'm a bonafied nut swinger but GN'R merch has been butt ugly for years now, show shirts are still mostly cool but the stuff at the merch store... Hard pass. Wish they would get someone who had an eye for this stuff, I feel like only teenagers wear ugly shit like that.

Russel Square up to Seven Sisters you can do it so you only need to change Tube lines once, then I'd probably walk from the Seven Sisters tube to the venue. Not sure how you are with walking, but to me a mile or so is nothing really and not worth bothering waiting for the bus for. 

I think you'll find it all really easy and it will be signposted. Nothing to worry about whatsoever really...other than Covid! 

Anyway, give me a shout nearer the time and I can give you some more detailed advice on places to go etc if you need it! 

I will need an oyster anyway, but a mile is nothing as I walk about 10 miles at work every day 😄 so that sounds like a good plan 🙌🏻 Will hit you up later if I have questions. Thanks for all the info again!

You definitely won't end up stranded! 

The nearest tube to the venue is actually a miles walk, but there is an Overground station nearer (that basically will take you to Liverpool Street Station). If it was me, I wouldn't bother with that though and would just walk to the tube station, called Seven Sisters. It will be signposted and you'll probably be just following the crowds. 

If you let me know where you're staying some time, I'll give you the quickest route for when you get on the tube. 

The venue is is what's called 'Zone 3' so isn't really too far out of central London in terms of the tube.....but it would definitely be an expensive taxi journey! 

You'll definitely get tickets. Just keep looking at the ticket site every so often and keep an eye on it. 

Yeah, coming from Finland 😃 would think it's allowed in by July, double vaxxed etc. Staying near Russell Square, just booked hotel tonight 🙂 I've been looking at the tube routes on google maps, I think it suggested 2 tubes and W3 bus or something 🤔 Tubes I can handle but I've never been on a London bus... They take oyster cards too, right? 

Yeah, will be following the tickets, I'm fine with either date, as I will be in London from June 30th until July 3rd 👍🏻 Then going to Skegness to stay with friends 😂😭

Easiest way to get there will be Tube. Forget Uber- their prices will be through the roof as Foo Fighters are playing on the same night, and goodness knows what other events. You don't need them anyway- just look for the nearest Tube to wherever you're staying, and hop on it. If you think it's too busy after the show, just hang back a bit and it'll soon be less so. No time limits as most of the lines run all night on a weekend now. 

I know London pretty well, so just shout up if you want me to show you the best route there and back. Not going to the shows but happy to send the route over if it helps.

I've been looking at these London shows and there are only garbage tickets left. But if I do decide to buy them, what would be the easiest way to go to the venue from central London and how does one get back at night? Uber? 

My one and only problem with Axl is his fucking boots. I'm always scared he's gonna fall and break something, boots are absolute trash to run and jump in. He wore sneakers in the 90s so why not now? 😄 Would be so much easier and safer and clearly he wears sneaks off stage. 

Why's everyone expecting a single? We didn't even know about Absurd, I think it's absurd y'all think we're getting another one soon 😄 Would love to be wrong though lol

Slash also says that Axl is incapable of lying, so who to believe here 😄 Maybe they both just experience the situation differently and suck at communication. I wouldn't be quick to write off Axls side of things. 

Some guy, who's working at the venue tonight, said GN'R is expected to play 7:45 but most likely 8:30.
