  1. Some of the posts in this thread perfectly embody why I hate this whole reunion scenario. Fucking heartlessly dismissing the hard work and dedication of guys who came in with the best intentions and gave whatever they could for the music and the fans/celebrating people losing their jobs...

    Fuck that shit.

They were well paid hired hand musicians not coal miners. They all signed contracts and those contracts ended. Cry me a river ,kid. They'll all be ok. No need to start a donation fund. You make it sound as if they were doing hard labor and their jobs were taken by recent Graduates willing to work for half price.

Your long-running trait of talking down to people you disagree with on here doesn't actually convince anyone of the apparent maturity or superiority of your arguments.

I've been on contracts which have ended before, it's not nice to lose your job regardless of if you're a coal miner or not. It must be particularly gutting, having collaboratively written and recorded what is apparently a lot of music, only to never get the opportunity to bring it to the light of day.

Also to spend 10+ years touring for a fanbase who've largely turned their backs on you without a second thought must hurt. No matter what these guys did, they were never going to be good enough for people like you.

Bottom line, I liked these guys in Guns N' Roses and I appreciated the job they did very much. I don't want to see them put out of it, for anyone, not Slash, not Duff, no one.

    +1

    +2!

  2. I won't

Why not? Have you ever been to a show?

Yes. First gnr show I went to was 1988. Last was 2012. Didnt want to go in 2012 but the tickets were free, so I went.

For me, I was bored to death for years with the same songs over and over again. Now it will be more of the same but the setlist will be even more pared down. Just because Slash is playing them doesnt do anything different for me. They will still sound the same and i'd already be bored by the middle of It's So Easy. Plus, there is absolutely no indication that Axl could pull this off. I have no faith in him whatsoever. And again, I have no desire to hear or see these songs played live ever again, regardless of who is on stage.

Would you go if they toured a new album?[/quote

I would have to see what their setlists were like. If it was all afd, the usual suspects and 2 new songs, then absolutely not. And of course, check out vids and see what axl is sounding like. But honestly, i'd lean towards no in any situation....most likely

Fucking hell, I fucked up that quote!
