The fanfzero remaster is far more enjoyable than the original source. But yeah, I probably won't listen to this ever again.

Except for TIL, I think he sounded pretty much the same he's been sounding since last year, which is not great of course.

It sounds like he choked there tbh. He was pretty raspy and hitting the notes without issue up to that point (in the bridge I mean, not the whole song).
He did the same at the previous gig. Actually he couldn't even sing that line at all.

Axl had issues again with the bridge in YCBM. He runs out of breath when he reaches the "cause 5 years is forever" line.

Smart Axl! Setting the bar so low at the first show so "he actually sounds pretty decent" the rest of the tour.

I'm not sure if the sample is recorded from a TV screen or the DVD is actually a screen shot recording. Anyone knows?

I left the stadium with a bittersweet taste. The show itself is great, but in a 3 hours show I'd like to have a few surprises. Once you know exactly what's next, it gets a little boring.
I will never get why they play so many covers and I think it's fucking ridiculous that they become staples. Sure I was curious to hear Black Hole Sun but only because I'm a Cornell fan. I honestly hate Wichita Lineman and the Wish You Were Here/Layla jam. Thank God they didn't play neither The Seeker nor I Feel Good.
The extended versions of KOHD and RQ are also a drag. They've been playing them the exact way for too much long.
The rain didn't help. We were freezing so a little more of rocker stuff would've been welcome. I missed a song like OTGM.
Axl sounds great but I don't think he sounded that different from RIR. Any flaw he might had it was muffled between the loudness of the band and the crowd noise. He sure had more control and it was notorious in songs like Better and in the end of Coma.
I also don't like what Slash is doing with his solos. I'd like him to stick more to the studio versions. He improvises a lot and mostly I don't like that much what I hear. Overall he's a beast and puts on a hell of a performance.
Ok I think that would be all my complaints. Maybe it sounds like I had an awful time (hah!) but I actually enjoyed the show. It's just I expect more from them and I'm sure they can bring it. Now they are clearly on autopilot.- 5

I'm of the idea that the people who still find things to complain about are people who are unable to enjoy anything in life... jesus! This is really big! We don't even know how long this will last. Enjoy it as it is. Be grateful.

I really hope this is a temporary thing and he recovers the power in his voice soon. The difference between the first shows and the last ones is notorious. I mean, I've been listening to the Marseille bootleg nonstop, it's fucking great. This Hells Bells is painful to listen to.
-
his voice has been cracking during Hells Bells in the last couple of shows

I believe these are all the songs we heard from rehearsals and the only one that hasn't been played yet is Dog Eat Dog.

The previous clip was the intro.
This new one is the breakdown in the middle of the song.
yeah, you're right

i'm confused.... he didn't sing that "you're at The Troubadour, baby!" line in the previous clips we watched

The same gig: Roxy !
There's something i don't understand; why not releasing the whole show directly ? that's still a fn' mystery for me !
It reminds me of the Hyde Park Stones Blu-ray/DVD from a couple of years ago. Three or four songs were cut from the show proper only to be included as bonus features. It made no sense at all.
It's probably because they already have the main set edited as it was broadcasted. Then they add the rest of the songs as bonus and the job is done.

this can only mean one thing!!!1!1!!!1!

Johnny Depp also did some backing vocals for the last Aerosmith album on the song Freedom Fighter

OMG ... I just found something funny ... watch this:
Look at Richard Fortus clothes, hat and guitar @ 6m48s .... In the instants before and after that, he's wearing other clothes, no hat and he is using another guitar.
I hope the DVD doesn't have this kind of shit :
yeah that's really annoying
also, at 4m30s Richard goes to the mic for the chorus and next shot he's away from the mic. The latter is clearly a shot from another moment and there's a couple more of those across the dvd. Some of them are Frank's shots during Civil War, Nightrain and Patience I think. You can see dancers in the bottom when actually there were no dancers during those songs.

i've got a feeling axl will debut a new hat tonight

I've downloaded the first part of the Sao Paulo show. I did a quick overlook on the video and the quality is great but there are a lot of cuts between songs and missing solos. Not bothering downloading the second part

Looks like the only editing that took place on these videos was to cut out Axl's close-ups. This band is so weird...
