  1. That is fucked. SHIT! :fuckyou:

It seems they are working even harder on getting a real deal now. I really hope it works out for them, though I'm quite sceptical.

  2. ^ And of course that song blew up big time here in Denmark :tongue2: .

HV, we need to get this thread going again. Post some cool electro songs :)

    - 2:05 and forward
  3. Turboweekend - Trouble Is

I fucking love this song. Turboweekend is definitely one of my favourite Danish bands at the moment. If you like this song, I can only recommend checking out their album Ghost of A Chance. It has some really cool songs like Holiday, Colors, Something or Nothing etc.

  4. I don't know a single one of those - any recommendations (songs in particular?)

You MUST know Daft Punk? "Around the world", "One More Time", "Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger" etc. I'd recommend buying or """"buying"""" Ed Rec Vol. 1, 2 and 3 for the stuff from Ed Banger Records. They hold some of the best French electronic artists. The Ed Rec boxes are mixed songs from all of their artists.

EDIT: But none of them makes exactly the kind of music you posted.

Other French names are Cassius (look up the song "Toop Toop") and Breakbot (you've probably heard "Baby I'm Yours"). Those two are under Ed Banger Records as well.

  5. Ralph Vaughan Williams - Fantasia on a Theme of Thomas Tallis, Symphony No. 1 ('A Sea Symphony')

"OHH LOOK AT ME, I LISTEN TO RALPH WILLIAMS, I'M SO HIPSTER" ....

    My top 3:

"Gee But It's Great To Meet A Friend From Your Old Home Town" w. William Tracey m. James Mc Gavisk

"A Banjo Song" by Howard Weeden

"Some Of These Days" w.m. Shelton Brooks

    In no specific order.

1910 was a bad year for music. Artists like Carl Reinecke and Bernhard Cossmann both died that year :( RIP.

  6. They should definitely do this song again. I'm completely amazed every time I see this. For me, this is one of Axl's best perfomances ever.

    Thoughts?

  7. I don't listen to as much Rage as I used to, so maybe I agree with op to some extent. But at least they tried to say something. We live in a world where kids graduate high school and go get killed overseas. Motherfuckers can't find a job, living check to check, struggling just to get by. Can barely afford insurance for their kids. Rich get richer and poor get poorer. But we got Lady Gaga and Kanye, time to party yall.

Judging by this post, I'd say you're exactly one of those people OP's talking about.

  8. The Floor is made of Lava - Howl at the Moon

Kanye West - My Beatiful Dark Twisted Fantasy

    !!! - Strange Weather, Isn't It?

Jack Johnson - To The Sea

The Dead Weather - Sea of Cowards

    The Black Keys - Brothers

Nas And Damian Marley - Distant Relatives

    Gorillaz - Plastic Beach

    The National - High Violet

Kiss Kiss Kiss - Release the Birds

LCD Soundsystem - This Is Happening

  9. Clever people listen to indie music, retards listen to Lil Wayne, while nobody listens to Guns n' Roses at all.

    That makes sense.

Woah, hold on, I know way too many counterexamples for that! Some incredibly dumb people only go by whatever new flavour-of-the-month indie band is currently "hip".
