There's gonna be so much loud cheering the moment each and every classic character appears on screen.

Haha i can't even imagine that happening here in the UK. I've heard that you guys applaud n all that after a good film, but here it's just like "that was pretty good, eh? Now where's my jacket?". Saying that, ive never been to opening screenings of a massive film so it might be different but it just doesn't sound very British, and certainly not very Scottish! Haha

Looking forward to this film, but i'll be goin when the hype died down a bit.

It will be different. THIS is different. No movie franchise gets this kind of reaction. None. The cheering will happen all over the world guaranteed. When the classic characters show up on screen for the first time and when the opening score hits and the Star Wars logo comes on screen it doesn't matter if you're British or American or Mexican or Chinese. It will happen everywhere and I'm nto exaggerating haha

That's so true.

I remember seeing Phantom Manace opening night. As soon as the lights went down everyone cheered, then went ballistic when the opening title crawl came on. But when it ended everyone was quit silent. I think everyone was thinking the same thing "WTF was that" lol. Don't think that will happen on this one.

I saw the concert in Toronto on opening night in 2012. Just saw the movie last night. The did an amazing job on the film. I rate it 10 out of 10.

The Blu-Ray and DVD will be out November 16th. Cant wait.

I voted Empire Of Clouds for one that I would like to see played live although I know it won't be played.

Interesting ending, there, with that spoken word in that weird voice (don't know how else to describe it).

I'm actually enjoying your guys' reviews more than the circle jerk of goodness on the FC. Seeing you guys rank If Eternity Should Fail a 6.5/10, which everyone on the FC is acting like it's the greatest thing since sliced bread, is helping ground my expectations a bit

Seems most people, both here and on the FC/Facebook are saying The Red And The Black is the highlight.

the red and the black is like the 2015 version of rime of the ancient mariner. it has a very similar riff and its 13 minutes long and in some parts has the same kind of setup and vocal delivery. there is one part that sounds just like the segment in rime where it starts "the mariner kills the bird of good omen"

shadow of the valley has a opening riff that is really similar to the opening riff of wasted years as well.

Interesting. Is it like blatant ripoff, or just something that will remind people of those songs?

Not a blatant rip off. There is lots of little hints of earlier Maiden on here.

So far my favorite is Empire Of Clouds then second is Eternity. Listening to the album for the third time today.

Saw it last night. I really liked it. I went in with low expectations. Not as good as first 2 but defiantly better than 3 and Salvation. People say there is too much humor in it but I thought there was just right amount. No more than T2 really.

Never heard of this till now. Just watched a couple related videos and discovered some guys jerk off to my little pony!!! WTF!!!!!!!!!!
