Been here lurking since 2003 and it's been great. I care about Guns, but the last year it's been pretty hard to be a fan of this band and Axl.

I think the forum admin is trying to make a statement and as such he should stand by his decision to close it down and hopefully have some impact, however improbable this may seem.

Chinese Democracy is one of my favorite album's of all time.

So many good song's, so many good solo's, and Axl sound's in top form.

I dont know , Kinda sounds like an unfocused Muse , Kinda reminds me of 80's new wave meets brit invasion...odd sound..the vocals are a little high and osmond like....

I read slash's book recently and reading through it , i felt it was kinda incomplete , bits here n there omitted , he may have no lied as much as he omited bits and piece's that didint fit his messege and this post really fills the gaps and give the unbiased whole image which is really kool.

Hey axl , since i bought the album..defended the album's future success on here etc , When i become big in around late 2011 begining of 2012 , could i open a couple nights for GNR?

Even if im big , its still my goal to do so , I heard AFD etc but nothing caught my attention like better and there was a time..now scraped and sorry , anyways , chinese democracy is my favourite album and one of my biggest inspiration's , sometime's feel's like the heavy metal version of Muse (which are another of my fav bands).

Nickleback is simply the britney spears or jonas brothers of pop rock music.

They are a BAR BAND that got lucky with a catchy song - how you remind me. And since then, they went into the def-leppard mode of soley existing to produce billboard top 10 songs that cater to 10-14 year old girls. I liked Nickleback's first album. It was a decent rock album. Listen to the song Breathe. KICK ASS song.

But since then, they have become a pure singles orientated pop band.

Addicted and 18 days are good songs..They have a nickelback formula thats for sure.
