  1. I know that you want new music..... but haven't you realized that Axl & Co don't have any. NOTHING! NADA! the vaults are empty.

People believe that Axl is sitting on a mountain of music & not releasing it, where as I believe  he has parts of songs & some weak riffs & maybe a melody or a jumbled mess of lyrics, but that's not enough for a album. I have seen Van Halen digging up scraps from Eddie's vault for an album & they didn't have anything great.

Secondly, I can not believe ANY studio even considering working with Axl again in this life time after the mess of the last album.

I think every studio that Axl went to told him, he either get's 'the old line up together' or the studios are not interested. Axl has a bad reputation & everyone in the music biz knows that & they stay away from him because of it, his work ethic & attitude are as outdated as VHS tapes. No one wants to work with that kind of mentality anymore.

In all honesty do you think Axl has been blacklisted in the music industry, after the CD debacle?

Don't get me wrong, I love Axl & I'm not trolling (at least I think I'm not) but I can't understand why you can't see HE HAS NO NEW MUSIC.

Whatever songs NuGnr have, are mostly junk or not up to Axl's standard or some such thing.

& his management team are appalling & useless, if he wants to be taken seriously again he needs new management.

If he wants to keep his current manager & stay as he is, then he deserve what he gets.

Or do you believe he has new music but he can't get a record deal?

    ____

    Was I ranting?

Ok, first thing we konw that Atlas is mixed, mastered and ready to go. People here aren't asking for an album they are asking for music. If Axl puts Atlas out as a single with a music video i bet that everybody will shut up and enjoy it.

Second, what do you mean by "no studios want to work with him". Anyone can record at any studio in the world if he has the money for it. Why wouldn't they work with him? It's easy money, he wouldn't show up for the first 2 weeks anyway, the sound engineer can drink his coffee and watch his favorite TV show and get paid for it.

Third, no he has not been blacklisted by anyone. Why? Because he brings them money.

If you ask me in this age a band like Guns N' Roses does not need a label contract. Just put your music on iTunes, shoot some videos for the songs and wait for a million bucks to get passed on to your bank account.

  2. Don't want to be negative at all, quite frankly i would prefer not to feel this way.

But as of the last announcement, we get the picture that nothing is actually coming out in a long time, and that we're going to have another 1-4 years of silence time span...

Anyone that has been following the band will know that if the band plans on doing something in 2014, it will end up coming true 2 or 3 or more years later.

I don't know if some of you share the same opinion, but i feel this has come to a drastic ridiculous point.

We have to admit that Axl has completely destroyed the good name of Guns N'Roses with his antics and let's face it, for this it would be better if GNR didn't even exist at this point.

    My question to you is:

Should we completely boycott this band from now on? Should we don't even mention this new band and anything to do with it and solely speak about the Original GNR band.

What will be the point of devoting our time to the new band since nothing ever comes out of it successfully?!

Let's face it, they are a completely new band that should be on this project with the mindset that they should start from zero cause obviously none of the members have been part of GNR history besides Axl... even Axl himself should have that mindset and be humble enough to start from scratch, yet they act as if they were the "Classic Status" band that the name portrays all at the Original band's cost and do whatever they want to, which only damages the name further.

I don't mean to cupcake with this post at all, just serious discussion. Honestly i think it came to that point...

    Let's see here....

Dizzy, Bumblefoot, Pitman, Fortus, and Stinson have all contributed to GnR history on CD, some even more.

Pitman, Fortus, Stinson and Dizzy have all been in the band longer than slash.

So you're saying that if i have been working for a company longer than anyone else that i should be in the board of directors and not distributing the mail?

They can all be in GN'R for another 40 years if they don't create music that is on par with WTTJ, SCOM, Nightrain and November Rain(solos) they won't be in the same league as Slash.

  3. No band treats their fans like this, i ain't buying another GN'R release nor going to another show.

Axl doesn't owe us new music. if he chooses not to release a damn thing for the rest of his life i'd be fine with that

but don't shit where you eat. Guess he hasn't heard that one yet.

Generally speaking, i have lost interest in tours, albums and DVDs. When things get confirmed don't let me know. Thanks for your ignorance.

Time to go and support some real bands and artists.

Maybe if we all do this and the supposed new album sells 5000 copies in it's first week Axl will realize that has treated his fans with no respect.

  4. how many songs on Chinese Democracy did they actually write between 04 and 08? In those years they were still tweaking as far as I know.

I think no new songs have been put on the table during those years. The most part of the album was done by 2004. I don't really know what they were up to in 2005 (most mysterious year in CD history, I think), then in 2006/2007 were added Bumble and Frank's overdubs and some other minor things like Bach's part in Sorry, then it was time for mixing and mastering.

As far as i know Better was written circa 2005.

  5. Axl should probably replace Bumblefoot after this tour with somebody who can actually write good songs. I can't imagine Axl ever singing something like So Glad To Be Here.

Why? Say he does so, the new guy will write 20 new songs that never get released.

  6. I wonder how many female students Axl banged after the show.

    really man? they are handicapped

Oh sorry. I didn't know that. whoops.

"An unkempt Axl Rose arrived onstage late, hunched over a microphone stand and huffed his way through tunes that sounded vaguely familiar with a cast of misfits that looked vaguely like a band. His voice and blue jeans equally shredded, Rose forgot the lyrics to his group's biggest hit, "Welcome to the Jungle," and delivered an off-key version of "Sweet Child o' Mine" that most likely had all the dogs within earshot of the concert howling in pain."

I'm sorry I had to laugh at that.

Well, that's bullshit. You can say what you like about the state of Axl's voice, it was definitely a weak rendition of Sweet Child, but he was never off key.

Was this sarcastic? Because if it wasn't go listen to the "performance" of SCOM again, then come back and edit your post about Axl never being off key.

  7. Posted Yesterday on Livebeats FB page.

livebeats :Thanks for your comments everyone. The release is not dependent on Axl Rose, but it must be coordinated with other contractual arrangements. It's as simple as that.

English! In English please! Do we have to gues what kind of contractual arrangements?

Just write the damn thing. Here is an example:

The release is not dependent on Axl Rose. Tom, Benny and Mark have to sign of on it or Tom, Benny and Mark have to pay us for blah blah blah
