Axls voice is gone, its the sad truth, that is why he uses backing tracks to help out his voice. Just listen to his in ear mix, you can hear how his voice is shot. And YES fans have the right to dictate the set list.

It does not mean the band has to listen but we have every right to talk about what we like or do not like about the set list, that is why its called a discussion forum.

If you listen to this clip of "Catcher" from Tokyo you can clearly hear the backing track - it's very loud in the mix.

I think.... they cancelled Guatemala so they could play in Costa Rica, but the new date in Costa Rica didn't work out, and they weren't able to reschedule the old Guatemala date, so they ended with two cancelled dates.

They play more of the older music, because fans rather here songs that were created by Axl, Slash, Duff, and Izzy. They get a better crowd response.

IMO The writer got some of the music stuff wrong, but is right on Axl.

I still like the guy in certain ways, mostly at a youthful instinctual vocal/lyrical level, but intellectually and thoughtfully I just can't get behind a person who has done the shit he's done to people, bands, and fans.

Being a rebel and a individual is one thing, being a selfish asshole who LITERALLY never owns up to anything just shows some kind of mental illness at best.
