  1. i wonder how gnr fans used to live back in those days when there was no internet.

Oh you mean back in the old days when Guns N Roses used to put the music on CDs & Cassettes and they would sell them at these shops.....what were they called.........ummmmm...........Record Stores.

Glad thats over, what the hell is a record anyway :rofl-lol:

  2. when does the new version of 'If The World" leak ???

How can it leak if it is on an official medium such as a film?

if thats the case do you have a copy?

I am almost positive that no file for the new version of this song has been posted anywhere (official release or not)

.........I guess it would have to come from the people that worked on the film productions audio,

or maybe someone that works at a theater could directly record the piece that is used in the movie

  3. Dont think this has been posted yet but its from musicradar.com, it may be old news but new to me and thought i would share.

"Guns N' Roses. Chinese Democracy. November release. Could it be? If all indications are correct, the answer is a firm "yes." And you can mark November 25 as the date to remember on your calender.

According to sources close to the situation, Chinese Democracy, which has been in production for over 14 years, at a cost of umpteen millions dollars, will be available exclusively in the US at Best Buy stores.

It is said that the band's co-manager, Andy Gould (who works the group along with uber-manager Irving Azoff), informed 900 employees of the retail giant at a vendor convention in Dallas, Texas of the imminent release - and then played them three songs from the finished record.

Gould is also reported to have told executives at Best Buy that a new song, If The World, will be featured in the closing credits of the forthcoming movie, Body Of Lies, which stars Russell Crowe and Leonardo DiCaprio. Gould also said that If The World was Axl Rose's favorite song. From reports, it was the best received track amongst Best Buy employees."

..........and they learned this news by reading forums like this for the past couple weeks.........now the circle is complete

    congrats

  4. I could understand why Plant would be hesistant to fully re-start Led Zep. It's cost him a lot.

Let's see, in the last five years of Led Zeppelin he:

-Got into a bad car crash which severely injured and almost killed his wife and put his leg in a cast for a few months.

-Lost his son to a mysterious ailment while out on tour with Zeppelin

-Had his best friend (Bonzo) die while prepping for a Zeppelin tour.

    the last 5 years??

Zeppelin have not toured since the Late 70's.......

And if by Bonzo you mean John Bonham he died in 1979 I beleive

Now we know y'all be lovin' this shit right here...not!

It is with a mixture of sadness, regret and mild nausea that Metal Hammer brings you the quite unfortunate news that internet rumours are suggesting Limp Bizkit have reformed.

Wes Borland will not be part of this reunion and will allegedly be replaced by former Cold and Evanescence man Terry Balsamo. Try not to get too excited now.

    This is it................

    this is the proof..........

    There is no God :(

  6. ^ I could upload the AVI. files I ripped off the DVD, It would probably have to be in pieces (chapters)

or a faster download would be the 10 files I put on youtube

......oh, and yes this a dark movie, but nothing compared to another cut I have that is simply titled KING OUTLAW and centers almost exclusively on his death in New Orleans

  7. Ha, Ha

it would have been a funny joke if I did not feel like you just wasted about a minute of my time

You're mean! It's futuristic, spliced-up hip-hop. It captures its age better than anything at the mo' (our post-millennium meltdown generation.) It blends electric guitar, hip-hop, distorted bass lines- ehm, yeah- it's pretty ill.

    Ummmm, Yeah.......

Nothing at all like Appetite for Destruction.

Mostly instrumental drum & bass sounding music with some samples

  8. This is kinda rare.

It has never been officially released.

It's been shown at film festivals, and the director keeps re-cutting the film so each time it is different. (he has 500 hrs of footage)

    This cut is from 2001

The film starts with J. Thunders days with the New York Dolls,

The Heartbreakers, Solo and lastly his death in New Orleans in 1991

I have posted the whole film here

  9. No one else enjoyed this?

    Oh well

I thought it was funny watching the Simpsons people trying to use a drug addicted love story for family enertainment......Chocolate becomes a metaphor for Heroin, they chop it in lines, cook it in a spoon. Milhouse is even arrested for buying Lisa some chocolate
