  1. I think the people who try to point out that GNR existed with Traci Gunns,Ole etc - before Slash etc. are the most retarded people on this forum.

I mean shit.....is the Traci Gunns, Ole whatever the fuck his name is, version of Guns', the one you got on board with?

    ha, couldn't agree more

and the ones hanging on to their puberty illusion are?

I didn't got on board with a band, I got into GNR sound, for me it's all about the music.

but since, there are some of you, who are "believers" who got to adore one form of "gods", and you seem to try to convince others that your "gods" are the ones which are to be "adored", then I'll say no to you! because every one is entitled to "adored their own gods". and so, I'll stressed the formation, the way "your religion" created, and that no gods are real, they are illusion we create to help us to go through life.

don't you see your self? at every single topic, you wait to have the opportunity to beg for your "gods" to come back together. and not only that, which would be fine by everyone's else own account, but you stick into their face that they are not right on their "religion", that their's is fake and your is real!

so, it's not about only you, the forum users, but it's about the readers. because I was a reader for 2 years before I decided to come in here, to have my say on this matter. as one poster said, "why don't we discuss the music?" and go through all this "band" talk? I guess I found out the reason, see up.

Seriously, what the fuck??? The only people here who get religious are the Axl worshippers and nut swingers who think he has flawlessly managed to keep on with the "GN'R legacy". For me, I think I would not be interested in a reunion if they confirmed they are planning on releasing new music at all. Sooner or later, i don't care, but it would at least give us something to expect.

Hell, If only at least this band acted like one instead of Axl N' Roses. The lack of communication them and Axl is astonishing.

no, they are not the only ones... and from my account/memories I never read or wrote about the "GNR legacy" anywhere, but it could be since immemorial times, when the forum first started... and I didn't get to read all topics and posts, yet.

as I wrote before, I'm for the music. so if you are also, then I don't see were is "seriously, what the fuck???" coming from, because that was my point, the forum users talk less about music and way, way more on the band/events about it/shit/fuck/stupid... etc.

Well I'll have to agree with your point there about the fans not caring about the music, but about who is in the band and other shit. My point is that in general, the people who think about these guys as 'gods' are more frequently the ones who can't see anything wrong with the band and will agree with whatever Axl says.

    1. An extremely annoying, inconsiderate person most commonly associated with Harley riders.

    2. A person who owns or frequently rides a Harley.

Disclaimer: This post is by no means meant to be homophobic.

  4. Rock Band should have it's own conference <_<

In fact, the GN'R song announcement should have its own conference.

guns could have its own yearly conference. WW'GNR'C world wide guns n roses conference

... and all the emotion of following the multiple misguiding rumors would suddenly vanish. Nah, i like it better now.

  5. Madison was sending posts to BBA to post under his account.Things she couldn't outright say as an admin of a band that she supposed to be a fan of.

    **shrugs**

BBA was in her back pocket all along...and yet she has the nerve to refer to Eric is deceitiful, dishonest and unethical.

    heh

And seeing as this thread is off topic and really has run it's course..

Hey mygnr-ers. On friday, zint61 made the above accusation. Prior to being able to respond, he pulled my posting priviledges and locked the thread. I would have started a new thread, but I'm confident that it would be deleted in minutes.

First and foremost, I can tell you that this accusation couldn't be further from the truth, despite what his "sources" may have claimed. I tried telling him as much via PM, but I don't think he's alll that interested in what the truth is, just what sounds the best to further his agenda. At no point in the past have I ever been asked by madison to make posts on her behalf. Not ever. Even if she would ask me, I wouldn't do it. Just not my thing.

Obviously, the fallout between madison and the rest of this board management was ugly. Most of us got to witness this ugliness first hand. At no point in the past have I ever given my opinion on her departure (mostly because I simply don't care.) However, there are a few key items that I would like to respond to publically, since there seems to be some misconceptions:

    1) Do I believe madison was ousted as part of some evil, diabolical plot that was conspired by Eric and Axl?

Answer: No I don't. Personally, I kind of see it the way Eric said: both her and his views clearly divulged at some point. It was obvious to most that there was trouble in paradise - and there were public posts made on this forum that backed this theory up. Obviously, madison's moderating style was different than that of the other mods, and more often than not, there were conflicting viewpoints. Most of us saw that it was only a matter of time before some kind of shit went down. With that said, I'm reasonably confident that Axl and Beta wanted her gone (and very well may have mentioned this to Eric). Whether or not it was "ordered", and in return someone would receive "party passes", only Eric/ Axl/ Beta know that answer.

    2) Is it true that you and madison are really good friends and even talk to each other on the phone?

Answer: I have spoken to madison once on the phone. All other correspondence has been through email, and believe it or not, those emails are few and far between. The only conversation I ever had with her on the phone was on the day those 9 tracks leaked in 2008. At the time, I was posting under the alias of 'Incognito'. She called asking if I was the one responsible for those leaks. That was the only time I ever spoke with her on a phone.

    3) How do you explain being able to get away with saying certain things that others get banned for?

Answer: I'm not denying that madison may have showed me preferential treatment over other members from time to time, but I assure you it had nothing to do with anything going on behind the scenes. Personally, (and this is just my personal opinion) I believe she allowed me to stay because deep down she knows that what I say is true. In a sense, I could say the things that she was unable to because of her position. I've never asked her "why do you tolerate more from me than you do from others?'. If you're looking for that answer, you would have to ask her personally. And even with that said, it isn't like she wasn't constantly chewing my ass, suspending me, and banning me alot of the time.

That's the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth. If it doesn't fit into your conspiracy theory, I'm sure you'll disregard; citing some make believe sources that most likely consist of clueless losers who are bored. I think that this whole situation was uglier than it should have been. If he didn't, Eric should have given her the opportunity to resign and not made it a public matter. It very well could have prevented this whole "he said, she said" nonsense. Live and learn.

Feel free to copy and paste this elsewhere, cos this post may not last too long.

I have an interview surfacing this month on ChineseDemocracy blogspot. Stay tuned.

    Cool story bro.

  6. Guns N'Roses will be eligible for induction into the Rock And Roll Hall of Fame in 2013 – and although he says he'll be there, former guitarist Slash says he doesn't know the event might turn out.

He says he'd have been a fan of the band even if he'd never been part of it, and he lists some unpredictable tracks among his favourites.

Slash, who left GN'R in 1996, tells Billboard.com: "I'm not sure what it was about the chemistry of the group or the songs that have resonated for so long. But there was something about the honesty of Axl Rose's lyrics and the energy of the music people related to. It was a phenomenon.

"If Guns had stayed together it would have gone through some musical changes. Axl has his thing and I was sticking to whatever it is I do. But it would have stayed as big and relevant as it was when I first started."

Unsurprisingly Slash lists the band's classics as amongst his top tracks from their catalogue: Sweet Child O'Mine, Paradise City, My Michelle and so on. But he says he's "fond" of Coma and Locomotive from Use Your Illusion I and II respectively, and says the video for Paradise City is the only one he likes because it was live.

The band become eligible for Hall of Fame induction in 2013 and it's almost unthinkable they won't be voted in first time round. Whatever happens, Slash is planning to attend.

But he says: "I have no idea how that's supposed to go. If Axl, Duff, Izzy and myself start communicating, it could go one way. If we don't, God knows.

"Guns N'Roses was all the really great bands I was turned on to as a kid. If I hadn't been in Guns it would have been my favourite band."

  7. Video from the band's show the other day in Venezuela:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yiSGMpiEf9g&feature=channel

This is how Aerosmith started their "pseudo-reunion" tour (after the Perry- Tyler feud last year), which brings them back to South America with shows in Venezuela, Colombia, Peru, Chile (can't wait) and 2 shows in Brazil. The band will later fly across the pond to their European tour, which includes them headlining Download Festival in June.

I have to admit that I was a bit worried about how they would do on this tour (after Tyler falling off stage, etc.), but after watching recent videos it almost looks creepy. These guys do not age at all. rock3
